This very unfortunate but this could be avoided if the T&C have been more clearer.

That's why reading all the terms of conditions are must read. They are created because they have a purpose.
Yes, that is what they have plan to easily get money from gamblers. This type of T&C may be called a scam because they confiscate your money for a reason. Reading their T&C is really important to avoid future problems with their platform.

I sent 1 bitcoin to bitcoincasino.us, I have been awarded 1 btc deposit bonus, I think ok, that's great. I played a lot of games, I ended up with 2.45 btc. I made a withdrawal. After a while I received an email saying that I had violated the deposit bonus terms by having bets bigger than 0.007 btc. Ok, logically they should take their 1 btc bonus back but they stole the entire balance of 2.45 btc. Support now ignores me and does not want to talk about it. Avoid them, they are thieves.

Here is the email they sent:

In this case when you are using their deposit bonus, that is why when you are violated their rules, all the entire balance will be gone. This things always been discussed but yet this does not have any conclusion, only more debates on how this thing going. You should really give some time to read every terms when you are going to use their bonus. Most of the site have this kind of thing so they will get your money easily

On their TOS: https://www.bitcoincasino.us/terms-and-conditions

25.
Until the play through requirements have been met, the maximum bet that can be placed is 0.007 BTC. This includes double up wagers after the game round has been completed.

This is why reading up ToS would always be an important thing for you to avoid problems later on.Hope this would settle up.

I cant access the site because it is blocked by my ISP, I'm curious to know is there any terms that all balance will be confiscated if player bet above the max allowed bet during playing through requirement? Indeed I agree that we should always read full ToS especially if we are going to claim deposit bonus or any other bonuses.
In this case, there should be a win-win solution for both players and the site. Once player who take bonus and bet above the max allowed bet then the bonuses and winnings should be forfeited but not the initial deposit minus the amount lost while wagering using the deposit fund which is usually being used first than the bonus.
Only the house do have the final decision if they would stick out to their ToS or would just make some one time consideration with OP. Forfeiting all the money balance of yours is way too harsh.  Sad

Agree that the behavior amounts to scam. 100% this rule is unfair and purposely made very hard to locate and there is no warning when you bet of this min amount so you are not prevented or warned about violating the rules.

But agree completely also with stomachgrowls that you always ALWAYS read up on the ToS before depositing anything, ESPECIALLY with bonus requirements. Plenty of hidden terms and conditions (or hard to find). Give these casinos no reason to hold your deposits and you are less at risk.

You should post all of your contact with the casino on AskGamblers and LCB in the complaint section. You should definitely get back your 1 BTC. It also states that 2 BTC is the MAX cash out for all the first, second and third deposit bonuses. Did they lock your account?

It's a good idea, but I wouldn't put too much hopes on it. The issue has been brought up repeatedly with AskGamblers and they have consistently sided with casinos, even when it's very obviously extremely predatory. It gives me the impression they don't actually care about players or fairness, and just their affiliate earnings. But definitely doesn't hurt to try.

But the real uphill battle that the OP is going to have is that bitcoincasino.us is not a well known or reputable casino, so they have no real reputation to protect.   Undecided  But I really hope the OP is successful, casinos that prey on their customers really should just not exist.

That is really bad for a brand and something that needs to be acted upon with LCB or AskGamblers.

I know this brand was odd when it came on the scene a couple of years back and I do think it is own and run directly by Softswiss/bgaming due to the publicly announcing in media buy their acceptance of US players.

Nowhere in there terms of service does it state that they can confiscate your actual deposit if you bet over 0.007. What casino does not have a measurement put into effect that protects players from betting over the max amount you may bet with a bonus? When you deposit 1 BTC you should be able to bet more than 0.007 due to the fact that that is only 0.7% of your total deposit. You should post all of your contact with the casino on AskGamblers and LCB in the complaint section. You should definitely get back your 1 BTC. It also states that 2 BTC is the MAX cash out for all the first, second and third deposit bonuses. Did they lock your account?

P.S. ignore the vultures like game-protect who go around scamming victims.
Please also add the links to your Scam Accusations, like it is very common here on bitcointalk?

Yeah, this is the same trick that bitstarz used to do. It's highly abusive, and something I think most people would agree is pretty much is a scam. (After all, there are trivial software fixes to not allow people to accidentally bet higher than the max-bet).

Unfortunately they don't seem to have a bitcointalk presence, so there's no way I can leave them negative trust or what not. I hate to say it, but your avenues of recourse are going to be very limited. Probably your best bet is to contact every site that links to them (although most of them won't care, as they are happy linking to scam sites/services as long as they get their affiliate money).

You also have the potential for legal remedy, but it's not clear where they are operating from -- your best bet would be talking to a lawyer who specializes in this stuff. You can really go after their domain and hosting, which will force them to defend the case. (Which is pretty much indefensible, as the contract is clearly abusive).  P.S. ignore the vultures like game-protect who go around scamming victims.

I know it's a bit late, but if you gamble in the future -- I'd strongly encourage you to go to well known and reputable casinos. The https://cryptogambling.org/ has a bunch of "Verified operators" who would never pull bullshit like that.

Who is the operator?

Experience has shown that local warnings like yours does not help much and other people on bitcointalk already warned about them, what obviously did not help in your case!

Google "bitcoincasino.us + scam" would have avoided your desaster.

Game Protect even has a Warnings list!
