If you are a long term investor and if you believe in BTC, this price correction does not matter, on the contrary this is a good move for it to reach new maximum prices

Correction of the some cryptocurrency - it's a normal thing. People that hold it even when it drops are smarter that the people who selling it at low price.
For most newbies it's at a point where they're more interested in buying high and selling low than trying to hold and make it through the turbulent and volatile moments that make up the entire crypto market. A lot of normies are trying to get into it too and it's hilarious seeing their weak hands at the bubbles they created, every single time. There are so many people I see trying to do crypto right and doing it horribly wrong, oh boy.

But there are a lot of people doing it right too. You just have to look in the right places to get a good idea of the general feel of it all.
The right people take home profits because of their patience. Profit from weak hands are our source to produce profit. These newbies likewise lost a lot because of eagerly knowing bitcoin with out considering its volatility.

The investors in bitcoin should aware of when to sell the bitcoin and when to buy a bitcoin. It's very simple, you have to buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. The price of bitcoin will surely vary with the time period,so you have hold with the patience to get the profit from it.

If you consider Bitcoin as a short-term investment, it would make you crazy. You will check the price every 10 minutes in the beginning and the high volatility will make you bonkers. I have seen Day traders exiting the scene without any profits, because they panicked at every drop in the price.

The real Long-term hoarders will check the price once a month. ^smile^

yeah, my brother is always chatting about cryptocurrencies and has piqued my interest, he will say again and again that you must be patient. I've just signed up to coinbase and am in the process awaiting verification, looking forward to finding out more.
Find out more details from your brother. I think it will go to a stage that is usually normal. And understand a bit more about coinbase and verify the ID. Bitcoin's unstable situation still prevails.

I think that it will be rather hard for BTC to dump lower than 10k $ per 1 BTC. 10k $ per 1 BTC is strong level for BTC at the present

For me, I also see that this present correction has been completed at $11,000 mark. The coin is getting set for another break at $15,000. Meaning, this is a time to buy and follow the upward ride to profit taking.

Newbies that aren't used to the volatility kind of freak out when things drop 30%. It's always been the way. If they stay around, they'll do well. If they decide to sell back to fiat they're just screwing up their future. No big deal. I'll still be heavily invested in Bitcoin.

I do not think that selling off what one has is screwing one's future rather one is using what they have to solve their problems. Therefore, selling off fractions of bitcoin when you don't have any other financial help is helping your situation by yourself. I do that too when I don't have what else to help myself. Bitcoin has been helpful.

Any time I sell any bitcoin I've screwed up my present because it could have been so much more. It's lost potential when I shouldn't have ever spent it at all. You're absolutely screwing yourself if you get rid of a good portion of your stack. You may never be able to buy it back.

Perhaps you should learn to post  your thoughts in a proper manner rather than writing a message as if you were doing so on a mobile phone.
Nevertheless, newbies can do that pretty well!
And trust me, some of them are much more experienced than you think, regardless their forum rank.

I agree on this point because irrespective the ranks and activity few people are well experienced and share their technical views in a well versed manner ! Applause for all those cryptoers !

I think that bitcoin can drop a little more to 13 thousand, then it will go uphill, it slowly grows. There is an upward trend

Correction happens every time and it's normal. Newbies doesn't know these and sell off at low prices, then the veterans will stock up. Hmm

It is obvious that this business of bitcoin is a fluctuating one and highly volatile. Imagine the price of bitcoin last week ($20,000) and dipping to $11,000, then coming back to 15,000. This is highly volatile.

Yes i can understand it really depends on the trust on the blockchain technology and patience in holding those valued assets even during the deeper correction. And this time the correction was price based correction which normally took more than a week to settle downed and now the correction is over and once the strong bullish pattern is formed you can expect a new record high soon.

If you invest in BTC (or any cryptocurrency for that matter) because you are convinced by its technological soundness and economic viability a large drop will be tough to watch but shouldn't influence your decision making -- after all you believed your investment to be a good deal when you bought in. Bitcoin itself doesn't change just because its valuation does. If anything it has become a better deal since you last invested in it.

At least that's the mindset you should be working with. If you invested in crypto merely because of its rise in price it will be hard to bear market reversals. If you feel the absolute urge to exit the market you either a) invested for the wrong reasons or b) invested too much. Possibly both. The best course of action is avoiding to get yourself into such a position in the first place, ie. do your homework and don't invest more than you can afford to lose.

[...] So just dont keep watching the charts every minute and give it sometime Smiley [...]

B...b...but watching the market go crazy is half the fun!

That's very much true and I can relate that with my past experience. Results in trading sometimes don't go as planned. I've learned to set limits for both gains and losses.
