For me I better hodl, because I think bitcoin price will come a few months the price will be higher again, because people who invest today is very high, so I will wait for future prices will be higher than current prices. so we will get much higher profits.
As of now I think the best thing to do is to hold all your bitcoins right now, because i think bitcoin price now has a good improvement after it drops so hard last January. We can see a good price of bitcoin today and it is continue to rising until now. Hopefully bitcoin will hit another ATH this year. 
I think you are absolutely right i would hodl bitcoin , however it might give you some short term gains of you swingtrade alts with a small percentage and reinvest in btc

It all depends ofcourse on correct speculation wether you are hodling or trading.
If you are hodling a few things should effect your decision:
- how long are you going to hodl?
- can you live with seeing your coins go to almost zero to up and down again?
- can you miss the money for a x amount of time?
- do you believe in the project?
- have you checked their long term roadmap? Is it even there
- how big is your portfolio going to be?
Trading:
- do you got steel nerves
- are you not afraid to end your day with a loss?
- leverage or no leverage?
- do you got deep pockets

I think it is a good moment to sell as there is not much to gain with the current flat market and lack or relevant news related to bitcoin. I would rather stay in alts.
I think the hold is better, let alone I bought bitcoin when the price is expensive in last December, if I sell now then I lose more than $ 4000 per btc (if current price 1 btc = $ 11k), I'm sure that the price will soon pass $ 15k the end of this month.

In my opinion, the variant to sell Bitcoin now will be not a wise option. I believe that BTC will start growing, that is why I am not going to get rid of my coins.

In every season it depends on how you are going to decide for yourself. If you can see there's enough profit on your stash then you better sell but if you think its not enough then you better keep on holding.
we sell when the price is rising and we buy the price sat down, simple not, just we need to know when the price goes up and when the price falls because it's hard to predict we can only monitor it trerus continuously until the price rises

I agree to you. Also, I think now is the best time to buy Bitcoin because of the price drop and also it is stable there and I think there will be a price hike later on. Holding it for long term seems like a great idea too since Bitcoin doesn't have a price hike yet maybe hold it for months and a year and I think you should do just fine.

Hold bitcoin for now, as bitcoin begins to increase again. Do not be in a hurry to sell it now, wait for a while, and higher prices will get you.
With bitcoin's pretty low value, i think this is the time to hodl your bitcoins and wait until it will rise up to last year's all time high or until your target value is reached. Meanwhile, with its low value, this is the best time to buy some bitcoins and take advantage of the low cost.

Just HODL. Don't worry about the ups and downs of its price, just be patient. I suggest to not focus on one thing, don't put all your money in investing bitcoin. Do some short term trading if you have time for it. And remember, invest only the money you can afford to lose.
I think it's better to hold first because bitcoin prices will continue to rise even more than the price in 2017, do not panic when prices fall, rest assured that bitcoin will go up at a much higher price
