just some heads-up about the forthcoming events that our group is organizing.
—
Tomorrow (Saturday, August 12th) we'll meet at Wirtshaus am Bavariapark (not Gärtnerplatz as originally scheduled because of the bad weather) with special guest Willson Lee.
Bitcoin World Tour, Chapter Munich —
https://www.meetup.com/Bitcoin-Munich/events/242138435/(For this special event we also looked into other bars and restaurants in Munich accepting crypto-currencies by now, but most are on holidays and/or not spacious enough. We're definitely planning some additional get-togethers at various other places though. So we were falling back to our tried-and-tested regular Stammtisch location for now.)
—
On Tuesday, August 22nd, we welcome Manfred Karrer, founder and lead developer of the decentralized exchange Bisq, formerly Bitsquare.
Bisq & BBQ —
https://www.meetup.com/Bitcoin-Munich/events/240705685/We'll be kindly hosted at the Bavarian Pirate Party offices. They have a backyard with grill (and hopefully good weather by then), a room spacey enough for a presentation, and the conceptual understanding of tonight's topic that's way out there even beyond "Neuland".
We'll start the evening at 18:00 with a casual meet-and-greet-style BBQ get-together and do the presentation later.
—
On Tuesday, September 19th, we are excited to have two legends of the space, Tone Vays and Aaron Koenig.
The Great Altcoin Debate —
https://www.meetup.com/Bitcoin-Munich/events/242301271/We haven't decided on a location for this event yet. We have a few options, but we continuously seek to expand our pool of partners. So message us on the meetup platform if you know a location that would be a good fit. For example a co-working space with a good presentation area for a 100+ audience might work well.
