I think that as the market is going, the maximum for me that it can reach is $ 25k, it is a round and pleasant figure for Strong Hands, apart from when it is at 1/4 of $ 100k it will produce more emotions, therefore it may be consolidate there for a long time and create a liquidity zone to withstand any attack from the Bears.

Well now there is only 9 days left in this miserable year 2020 and I still think we will see a correction period before the year is over.
It could go something like BTC price for 1 coin is 25k but then we see a immediate 'correction' to below 20k.
I am still not convince that we will not see a lower price before year over.  Hope I am wrong.

Hi since we already broke past $20K and we have been around $23K for awhile I want to ask my co-forum members what do you think the highest price would be?

And since I don't want to create more threads I also want to ask your idea on what price would be the peak price before it gets a price correction?
Well no one can accurately answer your questions since anything is possible to happen. The price of bitcoin can increase further if the demand stay high and hodlers are refraining themselves from selling but it can change unexpectedly in just a snap. Some investors are weak when it comes to a situation that the price started to decline, thus if there's a correction that happened its inevitable for these investors to panic sell due to their fear of losing their money.

Anyways few more days before this year end, I think the price can possibly reach $30k before a major correction happen.

But for me things are looking a tiny bit scary right now. Why? Not because it had a small drop right now, that is not really that important, we have moved beyond 20k just recently and as long as we are above 20k I would be happy with whatever the result, so going from 24k+ to 21k for example, or even at 20001 dollars would be fine for me, as long as we are a hair over 20k level.

However what scares me and what scares the public from what I can see, is the fact that 2018 was a horrible year and a huge long bear run. You may say how come we are scared because 2018 was a bear run? Well it is simple really, 2017 was the last year we had the huge increase, it was on 2017 December and right now in 2020 December we had another all time high, which means if the 2017 December peak was followed by a whole year 2018 bear run, could that be similar in 2021 as well? That scares us.

I understand how Btc has been moving similarly in a 3-year cycle or the post halving bullish predictions. And I can't deny the fact that a huge chance for a bearish run early in 2021 might happen, thus people might panick again rushing to dump before it crashes down below 50%.
Nevertheless, we still have more than a week now, let's see how Btc would react in the new year.
Though, I'm still in a very bullish mode, looking forward for Bitcoin to hit the $30,000 mark.

We are not yet in the bubble, we are just about to start in 2021 so I speculate that we won't see a bearish run, although we will see such volatile movement or some few dumps here and there, but it doesn't mean that we are are entering a bearish trend like 2018.

So the likelihood of hitting $30k in the first quarter is still there, the sentiments and greed index is still very high, FOMO is going to set in again at probably around $25k and then a push to $30k will take shape next year.

I'm enough for now, 24k is 24k and that's more than 20% increase from the last ATH back in 2017.

Seeking for more might deliver losses, though i maintain my 25% capital inside and convert some part and others are converted to altcoins for another set of holding ready for next year.

I believe above 25k should be guaranteed at this point, even if we have a small fall, that will probably happen for a week at tops and we are going to back above 25k, or maybe we won't even have a fall and until the new year comes we are going to keep going up. At that point I am expecting a 19.2k drawback, it should not go under 19.2k because we have a great support around those levels and if it doesn't break that level, we are going to have a huge attack once again and this time around we are going to break over 30k for sure, having that kind of ammunition and profit in our pockets we will have a lot more chance to get back into bitcoin at those prices and will increase the price a ton.

Surely this is not going to be a quick deal, the quickest deal is the next 10 days and where we will end the year, and I believe we are not going to crash until the new year.

well if we look at the price I can say that the resistance that is in the area of  $24000 to $24300 is the big obstacle for the price not to reach more than $25000, that's why I think that if we break this resistance the price could increase a lot and would end the year with a price of $25,000 to $26,000. but if the price falls below the resistance that is at $21,800 then we would end the year with the price below $20,000

And since I don't want to create more threads I also want to ask your idea on what price would be the peak price before it gets a price correction?

for that have to break the resistance as I said. you shouldn't be asking that kind of question and then making a trade, at least I hope you don't do that

We only have a few days left before this year comes to its end but we still hovering around $23k. Within the remaining days, I am not so sure if we will touch the $25k mark. It is more likely Bitcoin will only play around $24k this year and in the 1st quarter of 2021 is the time we will see it on the $25k mark. But who knows Bitcoin was still unpredictable after all, it can even make a huge growth within a single amount of time so I am not really sure but one thing is for sure the rally is not yet over.

Why not make this thread a Poll and Give a prize for the correct value in the end year.

The first question already collerated in this, achieving the highest price is also the parking price .
because what is the sense of looking for parking value when it will be followed by correction.

In my opinion, chances that we can see bitcoin reaching around $25k before end of this year or maybe before Christmas. As you can see bitcoin right now is stabilizing at $23k so there must be a chance that it could reach $25k price. Seems people were still holding their bitcoin but get ready for the dump happening because Christmas is near.

I still waiting for bitcoin price to break $24k-$25k soon, and I think that price can be achieved in this month before the end of the year. But it is hard to know if that will happen or not because we know that in this 2 day, bitcoin price is not moving too high, and although the price can back to $23k, the price went down again until now. Maybe these situations makes bitcoin price is at a sideways mode, and we need to wait for a while.

as a whole 0% who know for sure the price of Bitcoin at the end of this year, predictions and analysis may be a lot to guess the price of Bitcoin at the end of 2020, sometimes the guess is right but sometimes it is wrong, which is definitely not the reason that 100% Bitcoin is at that price.

For that if you ask me personally about the price of Bitcoin and I can say for you later this year it can break through to the level of $ 28-30K, this is my analysis, of course other people have different opinions too, which is that: that's my answer to the price of Bitcoin ahead of the new year 2021.

yes, what we can have is just mere speculation here. no one can exactly say that he is confident of giving a number before this year ends. but yeah, we're looking at $25k here very easy. 10 more days to go and guess what? in crypto, a lot of things can happen in that period of time.
if you want to take advantage of this opportunity, either you can have intermittent trading here or just hold. but we cant be sure for what may happen in the next coming months, so better create a strategic plan for your funds.
Truly, a lot of things can happen with that short period of time.

But I'm more hoping that with that period whether it reaches another new high or not, as long as it's maintaining itself to $20k, we're all good already. That price is already a win to us and it's much better if it's the newest support that we can ever get before this year ends.

That's not too much to ask because the crypto market is always volatile and bitcoin could get high and low within the time frame.

Right, above $20k at the end of the year? It's already a win as we have set a new all time high this 2020. But as I have said previously in other thread, the narrative has change, bitcoin is still a speculative asset, but more investors are looking at it as hedge, that's why we don't see that much dump when we top $20k.

So if $25k is the top for this year and reach last week of December, then it is already a bonus, a super fast rally as no one thought that $25k can be achieved this year because of the pandemic.
Yes, those new tops will be a bonus.

Just as what we have lately, there's a sudden correction that made it back to $22k. In the news, I've seen it $21,850. And that is the reason why my expectation is just showing around on $20k and making myself happy looking at that price.

Dow Jones down and the crypto market suddenly did the same. The covid-19 restriction on UK probably was all the reason for this. But anyway, the resiliency of bitcoin is always at the top.

It is the first time for Bitcoin to reach that price so it is very hard to see where will be this parabolic rise will end.
We might see Bitcoin make a correction when it reached $24,000 then after correction it might go up again like what it is doing these past few weeks.

Peak price?? $24,000 & $25,000 are the possible resistances as of now that I see and either of these 2 prices might become a short to mid term resistance.

i think it is perfectly easy to reach $25k before the year ends specially since there has been a very good rise so far and we are currently sitting above the ATH and all the resistances that it imposed on bitcoin.

there could also be a panic buying because every year a certain percentage of the market thinks that there should be a dump just because it is the end of the year and when their prediction doesn't come true they always panic buy.
It does not matter if bitcoin can reach $25k or $27k. The things to worry is what can happen after bitcoin reaches that price. The game is not on the hands of retailers and I am worrying that what fearful story will be released after that price (if bitcoin reaches it).

In 2017, it is a serious debate for the hardfork that lasted some months. I can not imagine any story like that because bitcoin network is working well and the lightning network is there to be used more. Thinking of the bad story with network operation sounds unrealistic but I believe that something will happen. It is just a matter of which story.

We should be happy because the increase in the price of bitcoin has exceeded the predictions of everyone who predicts the price of bitcoin at the end or beginning of the year to reach 20k.
The current price of bitcoin is an all-time new ATH, but it won't just end because in the future there will likely be another ATH that is even higher, and to hit 25k, I think that could happen in the near future as the last ATH hit 24k and close to that price.
