This post looks childish to me somehow, but nevertheless coming from a newbie what more should I expect.
Yep, kind of.  It's probably more of a merit-grab attempt than anything else.

I've got no problem with people who earn money here on principle; it's just that this forum has had a long-standing problem of members in sig campaigns or bounties making posts in horrible English that are of little to no value.  It would be great if more posts were paid for in the local sections, as that would reduce the number of posts that non English speakers try to make.  I'm not knocking anyone for not knowing English well, because a lot of people here know more than one language and that's admirable--but trying to make substantial posts in a language that you're not fluent in and being incentivized to do so makes for a really bad combination.

And it looks like 2017 again? Lol, we have nothing against those who uses this community to earn some money thru signature campaigns and bounties. But the thing is that this people have been abusing this forum for that sole purpose and that's why the merit system was introduced here.

In any case, good luck to the OP and hopefully the youth that he is mentioning are not the one who is in the bounty section and then posting low quality post to earn here.

Although there are individuals here who become self millionaire because of bitcoin, but those are some early birds, early investors who believed in it and stay that long. And I must add that it's better to get a regular job than solely rely on this community to make money.

From my observation, Bitcointalk.org has helped in creating wealth creation for thousands of unemployed youths.

This has helped in reducing unemployment and in turn boasting the Nigerian economy through Wealth Creation.

Somehow you can get data that thousands of people have become successful and rich because of the bitcointalk forum. If we refer to the signature participants, actually the number of participants is not many, apart from that the income from the campaign is also not good if used as the main income because it is unstable, but for additional income it is very good.

So I don't think we should rely on income from forums. It's a good idea for us to keep trying in real life and make the forum a place to discuss and earn additional income. Especially when it comes to the Nigerian economy, I think what you are saying is too much and going on a signature campaign will not bring much change to the economy of a country in general.

Yes, BitcoinTalk has provided opportunities for so many youths, not just Nigeria but countries from all over the world. It's an online forum where Individuals with interest in the crypto space has found solace and gain knowledge. It is not entirely a wealth creation platform, but a mind captivating forum for Bitcoin enthusiasts.
It might have helped a lot of struggling youths, creating for them a means to earn Bitcoins online. But I don't see how it has helped the Nigerian economy.

Truthfully platform like this has helped in reducing crime rate in many Countries around the globe by engaging mostly the young generation.
How exactly has it helped reduce crime rate mate.

This response just made me remember my very first post on this platform and the first response I got... I felt so bad but later learnt that stupid comments from people on this forum are what earn some of them merits....

Well, it may sound Childish to you but from some other comments, I am glad that people with sense still exist here.....

However, you later made some relatable points in your comment.

And as for reducing "Crime", I know of people who were involved in internet fraud in the past that are now making legit money through this platform... If this is not crime reduction to you then I really feel bad for your sense of reasoning which I think you have lost.

Thank you.

When I read the title of this post I felt so ashame... (reason best known to be) maybe a Nigerian can relate.

Yes, the forum have helped alot in different ways but the concept of this post is really sad. If you wish to do something good you don't have to force it brother. You can even remain silent and learn than write what will end up making you sound like you don't know anything. I don't know who is behind that username but try to read alot it will help you in or outside this forum.

If you feel like your alone bro your not I have experience such too. My first thread here in the forum was a bit nonsensical though it contained some information but I was ignorant that such thing has been in place before hand.
I stayed almost a whole year trying to figure out what exactly makes sense to write about in the forum and you can so too. Just take your time & learn and ask good questions before you publish.
I hope you learn from my experience, don't feel bullied or embarrassed everyone here is trying to put you in the right direction.

Mind you it's a global forum and we have a local board that this kind of thread would be more understandable in the sense that it captioned Nigeria only.

Thanks so much for your comment... My post may not go well with you even though it hits on reality of things in our present state, it's undisputed that some person's have left internet crimes and focus on making legit money through this platform, however, I understand you very well, from a patriotic point of view as it involves spiling out reality even though it sounds like exposing a whole Country.

Learning is a continuous process... With all my degrees, I am still learning especially on this platform as it has to so with something totally out of my scope of knowledge.

Thanks ones again.

Yeah, I agree with you on the use of English even though I didn't see the correlation between your comment and the post or maybe because I made some errors as maybe I wasn't calm to construct my words/tenses appropriately.

If only some of you know who is behind the post..... Though It may sound like bragging but the truth is that the money people make here cannot be compared to the 7 digits I make monthly...... This is also to drive the point that the post wasn't made to grab merit from anyone.

I made the post after chatting with a close relative who is presently making a living through this platform.....

And there are some many other making a living from this platform.

My relative introduced me to this platform which I feel may help me kill boredom when abroad.

Thanks.

Indeed Bitcointalk.org has become a blessing to the ever increasing numbers of unemployed youths in Nigeria.

Thanks to the originator of this life saving platform that has engaged millions around the World.

Truthfully platform like this has helped in reducing crime rate in many Countries around the globe by engaging mostly the young generation.

I have seen so many struggling young boys now financially self reliant and helping others around their communities in Nigeria.

Cheers to the owner(s) of this great platform.

The fact that a resource can potentially provide NEW KNOWLEDGE that can then be transformed into additional income is a good thing.
I also agree with the assumption that having received a new income option, some people have given up the idea of criminal income.
And it is good, if those who began to earn at the expense of a new direction of activity, help (or even maintain) their relatives.
But another question remains - is this way of restoring the economy, changing the situation in the country, fighting real problems - is this way not considered at all?  Just the idea of isolated satisfaction of one's needs without changing the environment, it does not always give a good result.

Not only that, with the help of bitcointalk forum, youths will likely to be more educated not just with bitcoin but even to the global news and events as this is also being discussed in the forum. That way, committing crimes will be lessen and discouraged because the youths have already diverted their attention into gaining new knowledge in the forum.

However, bitcointalk as a means of job and wealth creation is not only experienced with Nigeria but even to a lot of countries as well where participants residing from. Although it could not be considered a real and stable job, but it certainly makes a difference to those who are gaining knowledge and income from the forum.

Peace be with you!
Well yeah as a Bitcoiner here in BitcoinTalk forum there are a lot of perks that may help unemployed individuals to temporarily make money by offering services in exchange of Bitcoins and Altcoins as well. I am also once an unemployed individual but since I came here my life has changed because I learned a lot from here and at the same time I earned just by spending my time and effort.
