I think I recall seeing this thread before, perhaps much earlier on V1. I see much more than 5 players already signing up, so I guess we can safely say that this is a confirmed thing. Please put me down for entry. Thank you! I am not a huge follower of the games, but I play fantasy leagues with my office mates also on a similar system where we all pay an entry. Not very sure how the system you use will look like but I think I can manage. Can I just ask what is the split of the 5 top players?

Not really sure what you're asking here, but no, it's not free to join. It's a gambling pool. I'm sure you can easily earn £20 by the end of the year from a signature campaign or in some other way. Feel free to create your own league on the BBC site though if you want to play for free/fun.

Just wait. Save the bitcoin and we will start collecting the money in later this month so everybody pays roughly the same price due to fluctuations. I'll PM all proposed participants nearer the time.

Since several users have expressed interest in joining the current bitcoin talk Premier League betting pool I have organised here we have decided to try open up a new one for any others that may want to join in but missed out on the action at the start of the season. This pool will be run in exactly the same way as the original one but will start officially on Round 22 of the Premier League games on the 1st of January 2018. This gives us about a month to drum up interest. To join the tournament it will be a flat fee of £20 in bitcoin which will be collected nearer the time due to fairness. The competition is similar to Skybet's SuperSix where you get 40 points for predicting the correct score and 10 for the correct outcome, but over all the games played that week. Points will be counted and tallied up throughout the season automatically via the BBC site and the person with the most points at the end of the league will win the pot. I will create a new league on the BBC's Premier League Predictor website and it will be separate but ran alongside the original.

What I'm wanting is for any players who are interested in joining to state so in this thread. If we can get 5+ players to pledge £20 in bitcoin interested before the end of the year then I will then create a new league.
