Hi! I am just curious why my bitcointal rank is not updating.
I already have 81 posts and yet only 56 activities.  I think my rank should be "Member" by now right?

Am i missing something?

I just checked your profile. You registered October 21, 2017 (Forum Time). Which means during the end of the last activity period (that was last Tuesday), your activity went from 42 to 56. Unfortunately, you need 60 activity or more first to become Member rank. Since you already have more than 60 posts, all you have to do is to wait for the next activity period to end. By then, make at least one post for your activity and rank to update.

to get rank "member" you need at least 60 activity, so you need to wait 2 weeks more to add more activity(idk how to say it)

Understood. So it means some of my posts are not considerd as an "Activity"?
I already have 82 posts But only 56 Activities. Why is that?
Because in two weeks you can only gain 14 Activities maximum, if you created more than 14 posts in two weeks it will not be counted towards your activities.
In two weeks the first 14 posts you created will be counted towards your activities.

To quote Theymos:
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.
