Well, am sorry for missing your point but the way you structured your words made me think so, you understand when someone is trying to Indirectly tell you you did something, they don't have to come at you straight but indirectly, that's how you structured your post and the reason why I misunderstood/missed your point.... And am sorry about that.
We all made mistakes. Well in terms of earning merit, you did earn more merit than me. Anyway, I'm not an expert constructing words or sentences but it made learn from my mistakes and that mistakes will help me earn merit if it's constructive. Because of that, I made it in to DdmrDdmr's list of users who are close to their next rank.

Conceptually, you are, since you are now within 20% Merit range of your next rank, and thus qualify for the criteria I use. Nevertheless, I update this thread on Fridays, based on the cumulative of the forum’s Merit.txt files (which are released on Fridays). Since you technically met the criteria last Tuesday, there's a three day wait.You therefore will appear on the lists in two day’s time, providing you don’t reach the 100 merits before …

I complete agree with you that rank doesn't matter. All that matters is that we learn, share, teach whatever we know about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency like eth, doge, ltc and more. I like to look into the Thread and help out when a few users are close to the finish. Like today for example with Artemis3. The 1000 are done and with luck the uprank lottery will strike soon... The activity would already be in the necessary range.
I will check out some more users later and maybe help you out. I already had a few Tabs open now but since there were either banned or negative trust to see I didn't help everywhere. But the list helps to select suitable users

This is a very good and informative thread you have here op, based on my activity, I should be a hero member now but lack the necessary merit, and this is because I was away from the forum for close to 2 years at the very beginning when merit was introduced.
Well, am fully back and will work hard on get on this list soon.
I guess you already know the purpose of why merit system is implemented by theymos to reduce the spammers to spam or flood this forum with useless or gibberish posts. I saw my name on that list but still need more 26 merits fo Sr. member which in activity points I already met it and only the merit is left as I said earlier. Updated the lists in the OP (and subsequent post) to reflect the forum members that still qualify in each of those lists.
Currently, on those lists there are, lacking <= 20% merits to rank-up (activity may not be met though):
- 37 Heroes (on their way to Legendries)
- 60 Sr. Members (on their way to Heroes)
- 49 Full Members (on their way to Sr. Members)
- 45 Members (on their way to Full Members)
- 197 Jr. Members (on their way to Members)
Added this week (15):

(*) Due to enough merits for the next rank, or being banned.

Correct. @Chlotide lacked the two merits you sent him to become a Full Member, whilst also meeting the Activity criteria.<…>
In addition to the weekly Added/removed post, I also update the lists that figure in the first two posts of the thread each week, so you’re also included in the "2) Sr. Members close to being Hero Members" list alongside all other forum members within 20% reach of their next rank’s Merit requirement. It’s a matter of time to wiggle up the position on that list …

Ahh, really cool, very interesting to see...
There are already some members in the pipeline for a rank up, as I see.
In fact, I personally only lack 97 Merit, to fulfill the requirements for rank up...
