This is one of the reason I don't jump into any project just like that maybe because they carry the name bitcoin. We need to be very careful about the kind of project we invest our money in so that we don't get to loss our money unnecessary, we have a lot of devs that don't care about the safety of users coin but only cares about how they can make money for themselves without carrying the project they are meant to do.
We want to be transparent, we chosen the name BitcoinV because it is "Bitcoin" code with an added feature of Variable Block Rewards. BitcoinV is not another coin that simply copies code and puts a catchy name alongside it, BitcoinV has a feature with some substance behind it. There are reasons that someone would want to be involved in BitcoinV, namely:
1) Variable Block Reward (VBR) algorithm
2) 51% Attack Deterrent Algorithm. (Read about it in the forum)
3) JACKPOT block rewards. (Cross your fingers when you mine to hit a large reward).
The feature is coded which means from here on out, BitcoinV will keep its code base in sync with the latest Bitcoin code base, this will ensure that it remains "Bitcoin" with variable block rewards.
