What's going on? Is it dodgy?

Drop the second d and y, then add an e.

Or, don't add an e and go here: http://web.archive.org/web/20090307045020/http://www.jrt.com/

What's it got to do with doge?  Huh

A new web site for villa owners & people who want to rent villa for bitcoin.

Join now for updates, or to list your villa, it's free

http://BitcoinVilla.club

What was wrong with this one? http://bitcoinvilla.com/

wtf?  There is now bitcoinvilla.club, in addition to bitcoinvilla.com?   I had to read it back to myself a few times to figure out the difference between the two...

Simply click on http://web.archive.org/web/*/jrt.com and read some of the past sites to get up to speed.

Oh, like the homeandaway website where you can rent property? That would be cool.

It would've only taken a couple minutes - at most - to move files from their .com to their .club site.

Thanks for your comment.

The idea is to have a simple page where people can join for updates.

The 'club' idea is a subtle new twist.

For someone who knows their way around the internet and what it curtails, you now seem to come across as some newbie trying to find his footing.

The above sure as hell negates the below, gleaned from: http://web.archive.org/web/20130928041910/http://jrt.com/2012/12/17/property-for-sale-to-let-rent-in-bitcoin/

Thanks for your message, I've just tried to be frank and polite.  I am sorry if my one of my posts somehow offends you.

My first post was clearly meant in jest and was in the days with the 5 posts to get out of newbie-land.

If I come across as a newbie trying to find my footing, then I'm sorry.

If I can help you with something, please give me a call - the number is on the http://jrt.com/contact/ page, or you can use the Skype link from the same page to reach me.

What pique my interest is that you started this thread with...

A new web site for villa owners & people who want to rent villa for bitcoin.

Join now for updates, or to list your villa, it's free

http://BitcoinVilla.club

...offering up a lame website to garner support when, in reality, you already have a couple/three sites up that are fully developed hawking the same wares. Then, after a little research, come to find out that you're well-versed in the going-ons of the internet world including, but not limited to, the dating market, even have said attached to the San Francisco scene.

The only thing missing is Eban Pagan/David DeAngelo... Oh, wait...

Your site reminds so much like this one: http://www.delmangobali.com/

Any relations?

No, no relation, sadly, much as I wish I owned a villa in Bali Smiley

It's truly paradise, although I'd look at some of the other islands now Bali is quite well developed.

I apologize then, seeing that you're fairly new to the bitcoin scene and all. I had you mixed up with somebody else.

You've only been aware of Bitcoin for about a year, is that correct (according to your first post)?

No problems, no need for apologies.

Actually I looked at it back in 2010 I think if not then 2011 and got involved in 2012 -- I lurked here a while before registering, following the old forum adage of read before posting Smiley

Ahh. So, that'll make you John Thompson, and I see you once redirected jrt.com to a dating site registered in Russia.

Sounds good, but homeandaway.com seems to be a shopping site when I looked.

I think the site he's talking about is homeaway.com not home and away. That's a shitty soap opera lol.

Smiley

Oops my bad.   Yes, I' sure I've seen that site or one of theirs before.

I wonder if homeandaway will ever actually accept btc? The credit and processing fees on there are pretty high and add in currency convertion as well.

Competition?

If it is timeshare I'd be wary of it.

Not a timeshare "opportunity", nothing to worry about.
