I couldn't open the bitcoinwallet .com website on my VM so I Googled it instead. It says: "Bitcoinwallet.com replaces bitcoin addresses with your name. We are the easiest to use and most secure bitcoin wallet service.". That itself is a huge huge red flag in my opinion.

I currently can't post images so here's the screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/W774UxZ.png

Why were you even using that wallet in the first place? It's my first time to come across that site. And the site doesn't even open on my side.

Also, you were "stalking" bitcoin forums for years but have never read the pinned topic: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why? ? Or you would've atleast known better in picking a safe bitcoin wallet.

I have stalked bitcoin forums for years, but never before (luckily) had the need to post. Now the time has come.

I was using www.bitcoinwallet.com as an online storage for a small amount of bitcoin used for transactions. I had 2FA via email activated. Sms was not activated and no phone number was ever given in the account. I had a 14 digit alphanumeric password. And yet, somehow, my account was hacked, no secure codes were sent and the 1.96 bitcoin in the account were transfered out, again, without the use of a secure code via email. I have screenshots of everything.

Can anyone explain how this happened, except for a serious chain of errors in the security protocol of the website? I've seen occassional problems sending 2FA codes from this site in other forums, etc., but as is expected, this PREVENTS users from loggin in - it doesnt allow strangers to login to my account and steal my bitcoin.

I've opened a ticket, and as expected, its been a week and no response. I understand that the coins are gone, but I want to know HOW - if there has been a more serious security breach on my end somehow, but I can't even imagine what it would be?

At a loss for possibilities...any hep would be greatly appreciated.
