Altcoins are traded through bitcoin and there are no groundbreaking altcoin technologies which would make bitcoin obsolete.

There are already alts with more Security, fast transations and fair distribuition, etc. But I think bitcoin will survive long ..... practically all crypto economy is based on him. .
