bitconnect price charts are weird as hell, pump and dump coin for sure.
But as every pump and dump coin you could have had tremendous profit by buying before the pump and selling before dump, it doesn't matter if it is a scam or not.

They have both, as you note, been pointed out to be ponzi type schemes, with a lot of credible allegations. In fact, just looking at their main websites and schemes tells you to avoid them like the plague. They may not be dead, since MLM type operations are very difficult to stamp out, but steer very far away from them.

Anything that guarantees profit has to be a scam, if not now, then down the line. You simply can't profit from others below you without the whole system eventually crashing down at some point. I still see people posting about Bitconnect though, so clearly it's not dead (yet).

I've just checked the market recently, and it feels like I didn't regret about not investing to Bitconnect and Regalcoin.

As of today, Bitconnect got down by 50% from $440+ to $220+ and Regalcoin from $75+ to $4+. Maybe lending type coins are not going to last long, especially that Bitconnect was criticized as a ponzi and they have been threatened by UK to shut down their services early January.

Are they really dead now guys?
