Rules for your submission
Bitcore promo video
Format: Video needs minimum full HD (1920x1080p) with a minimum of 30 fps and should be between 1:15 and 3:30 minutes long. Language must be English. We prefere spoken language instead of a pure text-based video but only if you are well spoken, otherwise try and go for a non-verbal video.
Content: The video should be focused on promoting Bitcore BTX to crypto-newbies. Try to make a simple explanation why Bitcore matters, why it might be interesting for new investors and crypto enthusiasts etc. You are pretty free on the way you go about the content, but remember it should be easy to understand and still explain some of the basics of crypto - be creative!
This is a nice reference video from Vertcoin.
Deadline: We accept submissions via email ( info AT bitcore.cc ) until 15th of February. If the number of quality submission is below our expectations, we reserve the right to add another week to the duration of the contest.
You can link to a private youtube video or provide a download link in the email.
Your video submission must be open source for everyone to redistribute and share. The winning videos will most likely end up on our official YouTube channel. It is very important that your submission does not have any copyright infringements!
Please do not release the video to the public before our contest is over.
Everyone is allowed up to two entries but remember: quality over quantity!
Please try to stick to our CI guide (included in the presskits).
Prizes
1st prize: 50 BTX
2nd prize: 25 BTX
3rd prize: 12.5 BTX
4th prize: 7.5 BTX
5th prize: 5 BTX
Please note: In the case that less than 12 submissions are made, the prizes will be distributed as following:
9 - 11: 1st: 45 BTX, 2nd: 22.5 BTX, 3rd: 11.5 BTX, 4th: 6.5 BTX
7 - 8: 1st: 40 BTX, 2nd: 20 BTX, 3rd: 10 BTX, 4th: 6 BTX
4 - 6: 1st: 36 BTX, 2nd: 18 BTX, 3rd: 9 BTX
1 - 3: 1st: 32 BTX, 2nd: 16 BTX
Important: We do expect some basic level of professionality for the video. If we feel this standard is not met by a submission, we reserve the right to exclude it from the contest.
Winners announcement
After the deadline for submissions (15th of February 2018) has passed we will make a community vote to determine the winners.
