How do you call 3 years old venture as new ?
Here is the old topic of bitdice : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitdiceme-upgraded-to-v3-move-your-stats-476998
There would be no surprises why so many people are trusting bitdice because it is entertaining us for more than 3 years.

The new casino 2 version and recent signature campaign makes some people think about bitdice as a new gambling site. But there are with us for long time and more importantly staying as most trusted and providing latest technological improvements for better gambling expediences.
I'm sorry I was wrong, I thought BitDice.me is a new gambling sites that release. I started gambling with bitcoin around nearly one year ago but I am still unfamiliar with this site. Perhaps the signature campaign helped introduce this site to a lot of people and now the site is growing. Thank you for telling me, friend Smiley
As far as I know BitDice has been up since the year 2014 and has been well known for Bitcoin users that time. Also from what I know of this is not the first time that they had a signature campaign in Bitcointalk, as far as I know this is the 2nd time around that they have entered this site to promote theirs.

Changing passwords while you have enable the 2FA option, i think it have no meaning.
Will you reveal your password because you have 2fa enabled ? Password is layer-1 protection and 2fa will act as layer-2 protection. Fortunately bitdice has layer-3 protection too, (need to confirm email every time we login). Having extra protections will not harm us but will hurt hackers.

you have to change passwords, as long as you use the same, almost everywhere... Roll Eyes
Using different password for different services is the one of the basic security aspects of modern digital life. It would be ridiculous using same password across gambling sites, we cannot be sure when a site will get hacked nor when a scammer will decide to sell our data.
Security matters to those bettors who spend a big amount of money to gamble, specifically the whales.
Maybe for some of us that is inconvenient but we do not realize that security is the most important thing when it comes to the protection of our money.
For now, I don't use 2FA since I don't usually gamble with bigger amount, and for me, the email confirmation has already satisfied my needs in terms of security.
It does depend on a certain person if he would take the security seriously or not but it would totally be relying on how much money you would spend.Lets say putting up 100 btc you will surely find and seek if the site have a good security which is already normal for us bettors since we do value our money. Security is very important but in our situation which dont have enough or big money to spent then light security would be fine.

But why you should put that much just to try their security? 100 btc is too much, may be 1 btc is enough to make sure that X site security is really secure or not. May be it is on your situation that dont have enough money, but do you think about some investor that put a lot of money there to make some profit? How are you suppose to ask them to believe on light security?

if they put a 100btc in their bounty i think those great hackers will came to the show and surely they will breach the security of bitdice. Remember theirs no system is safe if great hackers will team up to break the security of their site target and 1btc bounty for that hackin event is i think very enough for that cause and for now they've proven already their strength.

100 btc in their bounty? That is really too much, sometimes they can lack of something too, so they are not going to risk that amount just to put as bounty. 1 btc is really enough for them. And why hackers need to cooperate with other hackers just to hack 1 site? They need to split the result mean while the prize is only 1 btc

You cannot assume that.Team of hackers don't come to hack websites for bounties unless they are security personals who are keen on discovering loopholes. You only can take precautions ,no solutions for security attacks. If there is anything I could learn from the history of most classic hacks ,the hackers never did it for the money, there was always a bigger cause to it .

I would like to ask if BitDice have any support link/thread/mail for investors questions and issues only.
I mean is there a "place" or a specific contact to talk about investing issues from and for the people that have invest or want to?

Besides, you don't need to play, if you only want to invest...

I don't think that there is a separate thread for investing discussion. However, if you need any support, you can always use the contact form or support email on the site.

google/nsa/cia/mi6/dgse, none of these are 100% secured, even pentagon isn't, this is why they issued a bounty of 40k$, and they said that a lot of security breaches was found.
Now bitdice is a gambling website, they issued a lot of efforts in the security of the platform, but it has breaches for sure. Now who will be smart enough to find "and" to exploit them.

Well you stated your idea, now you can do and exploit them. Every site really have a vulnerable part which may crumble down, though that why they are enhancing their securities. You don't need to exploit them really, you just need to trust them.

by exploit i mean using the break to harm the platform or the users.

I won't, because i can't, i am not a professional hacker, i just know some security tricks, and as far as i can see, they are respecting the basic security principles advised by many programers. And this, just a few websites do it.
But you can be sure that as soon as find something i will report it, you won't even see it in the forum unless they don't correct it.

Yep, this is the best method to go about handling any issues such as this and you will likely also receive a bounty for reporting it depending on the issue.

Aside from that if there is no one able to pass the site security, it will gain popularity and trust of every users.  The best part is, those who are not playing in Bitdice and experienced account hacking will surely transfer to the more secure site, knowing that they play in peace having their funds secure from any hacks.  This can also serve as marketing tools as advantage of the site.

BitDice uses the CloudFlare DNS servers but pointed it directly to their own servers. So no, "Cloudbleed" has no effect on BitDice. No need to change your password (assuming you always use unique passwords.)

Enabling 2FA is always good.
that is very nice to hear that. Bitdice security system is better than most of other gambling sites and even trading sites. Thanks for developing this security so that we will never worry about being hacked and stolen Bitcoin

they proven there site security before when they run a 1btc bounty for those who can hack their created bitdice account and surely many people get amazed from that since as far as i know no one get the bounty on that dare, and let see how long they can sustain this since at this moment bitdice got good reputation interms of security feature.
Maybe if they rise the bounty to 10BTC more people will be interested in hacking them, but i really doubt solo hackers can do any harm to the platform, it requires a team to be taken off (not down as DDOS isn't counted).
I just noticed that Raven object carries a lot of informations related to the user info, maybe someone can do a sidejacking, but it won't harm them.
Yeah, raising the reward/bounty will surely attract some professional hackers. if bitdice is really secure then they won't have to worry about anything even if they increase the bounty right? Roll Eyes
