Exactely why it will be impossible for bitdice to get Doug Polk to promote them. His value is so high, that BitDice will need enormous amounts of money for him to promote them.
Huh? Doug Polk explicitly said that he would be glad to help out if he sees something cool and plug worthy being done related to poker.
He clearly is jaded with how the state of online poker is right now with the high rake and all, and I think he would love to see something new and refreshing.
Maybe Bitdice could even reach out to him and try to get his advice on what an online poker site should do to offer a great platform...

Nope, that amount is just small amount compared to Bitdice's bankroll, isn't it? At least it was not more than 1% of the bankroll.
Not really a big pain imho, it is even a great stats for advertising purpose. Big win usually an effective way to advertise the site, so people will be interested to try to win big as well.
Another fact: those who win big are those who have lost bigger amount previously no matter on the same site or from other site.

There is so many big winners around, I would like to see if any of them really make the profit overall. This is gamblers addicted, although we see them as a winners for overall they are losing, only some that really profit from gambling and this is how gambling site should be. I do not say it is easy to get profit but it is just like big whale love to do this way, it is like just entertaining them
It's hard to say who makes profit overall but if we look at sessions there's plenty of people who have come in and grabbed a huge chunk of profit. Up for speculation whether they will keep their profits but if people walk away, sure they can profit quite well.
Thanks for the stats they're impressive, as to whether they make profits or no is a really difficult question to answer. There're many who would just stop the moment they made a profit and immediately hit withdrawal. Then there're others who would love to test their luck and go for higher profits. There is no way to find out who does what, unless they come here and tell.

I do keep track of this thread and the reports alex makes, but unfortunately your assertion is not true. He does reference some unspecified changes to combat abuse in the financial report on Feb 26th, but does not say what they are. Perhaps he posted them somewhere else, if so, it would be helpful if you included a link so others with similar questions and issues could easily find it.
I think everyone can get behind stopping people who abuse the site, other sites have made similar changes, just communicate clearly what's going on.
Yup, I read up myself and we have the post informing that treasure chest is back and then come in the flood of complaints that free things are not good enough, but there is no specific details regarding them. Faucets and freebies are great for pulling in crowds, but should never be at the expense of regulars. We already know BD made a lot of money last quarter, so we know we've got a product that's attractive.
At wry: I think the social aspect of the website has been mentioned before, I admit I only went on the site a few times myself and did not stay because the chat wasn't active. Yes, I like gambling and it is a gambling site, not a chatting site, but I think all of us dice players like having conversations while autobet does its thing.

We're aware of this and once time frees up we're most likely going to make everything a bit more straight forward and bring changes that will make the experience as a whole better for everyone.
