We would like to welcome 2014 as well and wish you, and our beloved bitcoin, all the best!

January has already been very interesting for us with all that feedback you have been giving us and we would like to thank you for it. We hope that you like the site improvements we released yesterday as they made it much cleaner than it was. Also, we did a lot of work on the mobile version and we are pretty confident now that the site is viewable on most modern devices out there.

Except from the refreshed design we've also introduced proper Multi-Signature and Pay-2-Script-Hash support. Unfortunately we only added it to TestNet for now and MainNet will follow until the end of the month.

Finally, we are planning to release a Websockets API by the end of January and start working on our Wallet service. We will keep you updated about everything, just be a little bit patient!

UPDATE

Added URL routes to match the ones blockexplorer.com is using in order to make your transition to Biteasy easier Smiley

/t/:hash
/tx/:hash
/b/:hash
/block/:hash
/a/:address
/address/:address

All the above will redirect to the main net version of the site.

If you want to to do the same for the testnet, you simply prepend the above path with testnet like:

/testnet/t/:hash
/testnet/tx/:hash
/testnet/b/:hash
/testnet/block/:hash
/testnet/a/:address
/testnet/address/:address

For the mainnet, they will also work like this:

/blockchain/t/:hash
/blockchain/tx/:hash
/blockchain/b/:hash
/blockchain/block/:hash
/blockchain/a/:address
/blockchain/address/:address

It'll be nice to have a testnet blockexplorer Smiley
Do you plan on implementing altcoins?

Well, one thing at the time Smiley We are still have a long list of bitcoin-related features to implement but we are thinking about supporting Litecoin in the future as well.

Nice design.Easy and fast. Cheesy

Thank you for your nice words Smiley That was our plan, to make it simple and fast. We are working on many more things to add, this was just the beginning.

In the next few days we will be adding testnet block explorer, a Websockets API and live update of blocks, transactions and address transactions on the website. Our long term plan is to implement Wallet and Merchant services which will be added in the next 2-3 months.

We are very pleased to announce the launch of our new website, Biteasy.com!

Our vision is to make bitcoin as easy and simple to use as possible through the services we will be providing.

We are planning to have a complete solution suite, suitable for everybody, whether you are a developer, merchant, or end-user, starting with our Blockexplorer and a REST API for it.

There will be a lot of activity the next few months in order to bring everything we promised to life as soon as possible, so make sure you stay up-2-date by checking our blog or our twitter!

Finally, special thanks goes to Mike Hearn and Matt Corallo (authors of bitcoinj) for their valuable feedback to our project.
