Topic: Bitfinex says no more US customers? How to buy IOTA now? (Read 474 times)

So I signed up on bitfinex so I coulyd buy IOTA, it seems its the only exchange that IOTA is currently listed on.

But when I verified my account I got the following message from bitfinex saying that they are no longer doing business with any US customers and I can't use their exchange.

So where else can I purchase IOTA from?  That's all I'm concerned about.

Thanks.

It's definitely not the only exchange that is dealing with iota.

Binance has around half of the volume that Bitfinex currently has with Iota and it seems like that there is a lot of positive reviews regarding their service so it could potentially be a pretty encouraging sign for US based users.

Also, there is OKex which is a medium sized exchange, even though i have not used it myself i've seen other users use the site to their advantage. So overall, you shouldn't be worried about iota ever becoming unavailable for US investors.

You are trying to swim with sharks. Why you want to buy IOTA as there are too many rumors for IOTA.
And also why are you flirting with bitfinex? There is a bomb in their hands and clockwork is ticking every second.

It's been suspended since I bought it on Binance

And if it drops, I'll buy more for sure.  This is a future hold for me.

The easiest way to buy IOTA is to buy it at the Binance exchange. You don't need to provide any kind of personal data to deposit/withdraw funds there.

So Binance has IOTA withdraw suspended - does anyone know why this is?  Kind of freaks me out.

I have other cryptos with Binance now and none of these other ones have the withdraw suspended like IOTA does?

Perhaps some kind of maintenance? How long does it is suspended?

this is a sock puppet shill for iota

this question about buying iota is asked here 50 x in the last few days

1. this shill cant work out to ask this on the iota thread
2. this shill cant work out how to look on cmc
3. this shill cant work out to buy BYTEBALL which is better and 70x cheaper??

come on other sock puppets and gullible don't keep this shill thread here let it die liek the other 50 there will be another where to buy iota in 5 mins time.

Bro - you just have some serious personal issues.  I'm no shill - what I am is an idiot for not buying bitcoin when I knew about it at .06 and never looked at crypto since really.  Stayed in touch when it hit the big markets.  Shit I didn't even know what ethereum was 2 weeks ago.

I knew about CMC, but as I already mentioned I was using cryptocompare.com which may not be as good.  But relax dude, I just got serious 24 hours ago. And I have no idea what byteball is - apparently I'm too much of a newb for your guru-ness - so no need to chime in.  Give me a few more days, and a couple of weeks to do my level of research that I'm accustomed to so I can wrap my head around this like a pro.

Whatever byteball is, IOTA is going to be amazing for what it can do within an ecosystem of crypto/blockchain 3.0 (yes I know it's not even blockchain)

I'm one of the smartest guys in the room when I actually focus and pay attention.  Too bad I've been playing the class clown since bitcoin was .06 - But JOHNNY'S BACK and I see a lot of opportunity I plan to cash in on, short term & long term.

So I will apologize if I don't know as much as you do and I'm asking basic questions.  Wait, no I won't actually.

Hmm, that is a pretty good list of markets on there.  I am using cryptocompare.com & while I like the website, I know coinmarketcap is the main one.  I'll have to browse around it and see which one I like better.  Those two are basically the same thing right?  Even with all of the features they each offer?

Binance also trades in IOTA and don't have restrictions whether you come from the United States or from Poland. I haven't personally used this exchange but I heard good stories about them. One nice aspect of this exchange is that it's decentralized, just like Bitcoin and IOTA. I don't know any other exchanges that accept IOTA besides this one. I've looked on coin conversion websites like shapeshift but I couldn't find one that supports IOTA.

Whats the craic with finding an exchange that trades a coin?

All you gotta do is open up conimarketcap, all the information that you need can be found there in the markets tab of a particular coin.

As others have mentioned, I use Binance for IOTA as well. The only reason I started using Binance was for IOTA and I do like the exchange. Also IOTA is on Okex as well but I haven't used that. If you prefer to buy with USD then you can use exrates exchange.

I've been waiting over an hour now for my Ethereum to transfer from coinbase to binance  Roll Eyes

I'm still trying to figure out how to setup an IOTA wallet, seems trickier than most.

IOTA is no doubt going to explode!

+1 for Binance. The exchange works really well and it has tons of other coins, I prefer now Binance compared to Bittrex

You can also get it from Coinone or OKex or even one exchange called Exrates. I know the first two may not be accessible for Americans but I am not sure about the last one, worth a look I figure.

You can still buy IOTA, deposite and trading is not ok for any country. But US resident will not have high withdraw limit.

They aren't interested in complying with all of the US rules & regulations lol

I'm on binance now and sent some ethereum to my wallet there so I can trade for some IOTA.

Thank you!
