Got this response in the email yesterday.
Nice and vague

Hello Randy,

There could potentially be some risks involved if the vendor is receiving gold from an untrusted source and the sender is engaged in fraudulent activities. It’s best as the vendor to know your source and the legitimacy of your source to ensure no chargebacks occur.

This is how i read it.
If you put up deal with someone that we later on decide to suspend we also want al the money/gold he has send you with bitcoin deals.
It doesn't matter that you lose your bitcoin and your money you should have know he was a criminal.
In that way you can only do business with your parents and best friends because that are the only people you can really trust.

I asked them to be more clear and tell me what i exactly need to prevent this from happening but i did not get a response back yet.

Does anyone know if they do chargebacks like people can do with Paypal?
Someone i barely know but want to to business with wants to send the funds through Bitgold instead of Paypal.
His offer sounds tempting but i'm wondering how i can be sure i'm not getting fucked over in the end.

And, don't forget to thank those doing the research that Bitcoin-themed periodicals opted not to do due to not wanting to disrupt their revenue stream via ad sales akin to how mainstream media performs.

GoldMoney Blames Increase In Compliance Requirements For Service Cancellation

GoWest, editor of The Bitcoin Trader blog, had the scoop in reporting on a development where GoldMoney is cancelling its online payments system.  The organization has placed the blame on a “global increase in compliance requirements” for the action taken.  GoWest’s summary:

Quote
In other words, GoldMoney is officially no longer a competitor to Bitcoin.

GoldMoney’s online payments allows account holders to make payments using the company’s electronic system where ownership of a specified mass of gold, silver, platinum or palladium is transferred as payment to a merchant or to another account holder.  Service for the online payments service will be suspended on January 21, 2012.

Ironically, just weeks ago Dr. Edwin Vieira described how if the U.S. monetary system collapses, as he suspects it will, GoldMoney’s online payments system is the model for the states to implement themselves, independently.  This part of his talk starts at about 0:49:00 of the Youtube video of his congressional lecture titled What Is Constitutional Money.

GoldMoney is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission under the Financial Services (Island of Jersey, British Channel Islands) Law 1998.  Within the past year, Trace Mayer, J.D. of @RunToGold provided an opinion on GoldMoney and describes some of the auditing the organization must undergo.  An excerpt:

Quote
The company deals only with bank wires from verified customers who are rigiousrly screened under applicable Know Your Client and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

GoldMoney did not disclose specifically which additional compliance requirements caused the company to decide to suspend the online payments service.  Some bitcoin exchanges offer a similar member-to-member payments service.  These include Mt. Gox’s redeemable code payments mechanism and TradeHill’s user-to-user transfer service.  Presumably the same requirements for compliance that GoldMoney faces are seen by Bitcoin exchanges as well.

Like I said, This community is becoming nothing more than a technical flaming fart.. I feel this is the most accurate way of describing a group of people who call company like Bitgold as anything other than amazing. It really shows how "intelligent the users are here".

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/goldmoney-inc-reports-july-key-120900870.html

Transaction  volume for the month of july $7,069,042 and they also added +105,373 (KYC) Know your customer validated accounts.

Bitgold right now is the fastest growing startup company in the world.

Has anyone bothered to try to refute this or your other post (http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20150720006453/en/BitGold-Completes-59.4MM-Acquisition-GoldMoney-Building-Global#.VfBuiRHBzRZ) with any facts or research related to the info here? Or is it just pages of wing-nut conspiracy theories? It takes a pretty big leap to go from where the OP starts to claiming the entire company is a scam when it sounds to me like OP's contact could have done something shady without telling him about it.

No moneys changed hands between the merger. It was conducted via a stock swap during a pump or dump drive.

Can we please hear from someone besides you for a minute? This thread is flooded with your theories. We get it. I was asking catoshi a question about his posts and links and your reply doesn't even make sense the context of what I asked. Seriously... give someone else a chance to post here.

Exactly how does my so called theories restrict somebody from posting a reply to yours or anybody else's questions? BTW, your welcome for thanking me for the efforts I've put into this investigations. If you have time, read about the lyin' sack of shit Leroy "Honestly" Fodor operating at the other end of the spectrum. And, let me guess that you don't have a bogus restraining order on yourself for diggin' too heavily into the BFL operation like I have from Josh "Honest Abe" Zerlan.

Here's the deal: You do your thing and I'll do mine. And, I'll be more than kind to abide to requests if you put some sugar on it, i.e.: "Would you be so kind as to cool it a tad while I await a reply to my question? Thanks, bud."

And that's how to form billion-dollar entities: Off the very backs of not paying tens of dollars to those who've helped built your empire. That, after you combine existing money-losing businesses into one and shout from the rooftops, "Look at me! Look at me! We's gonna change the status quo - AGAIN!"

Are you serious or is that a joke?

What side are you?

Who is Jim Gibbons?

Quote
“If there’s one thing American investors need to know more about, it is gold," says Charles Goyette, author of the NY Times best seller, The Dollar Meltdown. "They can either learn about it now – ahead of the curve – or later from the school of hard-knocks.  Jim Gibbons thinks now is better and has done a great job gathering some of the industry’s most knowledgeable experts together in one highly informative, full-spectrum package.”

I'd like to think that the contributors to The Golden Rule personify what it means to have good character. And there is some symmetry in that because gold is all about character. For thousands of years gold has been sound money. Money you can trust.

Jim Gibbons [send him mail] is a serial entrepreneur having physically built a 12-room country inn, wrote screenplays for a number of years, built a business selling ivory, wrote and published a book on fire prevention, and most recently, founded and now runs a company to farm geoduck clams for export to China.

Here's another instance of BitGold using a hotel address for their place of business. There's definitely some major illegal money dealings afoot where insiders are profiting off the little guys, with this time Bitcoin is part of the mix.

That's pretty impressive consider that BitGold was still under the radar at the beginning of the year, but during their ramp-up stage and getting listed and all, all of sudden there's no more followers to be had, coupled with BitGold opting to no longer follow the retards after following them in kind. Not a even a thank you from BitGold for helping in augmenting the stats so that hedge fund managers would have something to show to their minion clients, most probably just working stiffs contributing to their respective 401Ks. My hierarchical analysts may be off a tap, but hopefully I've drawn a picture of sorts.

I firmly believe that the hedge fund puppeteers are exploring creative new ways to drive their portfolios up - sometimes purposely down - via the incorporation of Bitcoin into the mix. Clearly, Roy and Daniel Sebag are manipulating the markets with their cohorts with deeper pockets at their beck and call, i.e. Soros Brothers.

Several months after the Echo Park store opened, Charney gave a now infamous interview with Claudine Ko, a reporter for Jane magazine, during which he masturbated, with her consent, while carrying on a conversation about business. He engaged in oral sex with an employee with Ko nearby, too. “It all started there,” says Roy Sebag, a managing partner at Essentia Equity who later invested in American Apparel and still speaks with Charney. “Then he was the douche bag of the year. Everyone loved to hate American Apparel.”

The way I see it is if Roy Sebag teams with John Fitzpatrick's Orgy TV, the duo would give Turner Broadcasting a run for their money.
