Which option do you choose from the "pay from" drop down menu?

To a new user how to go from bitcoins on an instawallet to paypal using bitinstant is not clear at all.  Is there a tutorial anywhere on how exactly to do it?

Sure

https://www.bitinstant.com/howitworks/

Hello Yankee,

I have bought 1 BTC back in Jun. Today I try to login to my account but your website is currently down. I have Google this issue and look like your website is shutdown.

How can I get my balance?

What is the phone number for customer service?
Who else in this forums from BitInstant so I can PM them for help?

Thank you

I'm having some serious problems too.

My order hasn't been filled and I haven't heard anything back from my ticket I submitted.

I used to really like bitinstant, but I'm starting to change my mind.

I've also got a horrible feeling that they're going to pick the highest price they can to sell me my bitcoins. I ordered at ~$140, not $200.

Bitinstant support, this is your chance to make things right and not sell me overpriced coins.

Your move

BitInstant rocks. Bought my first bitcoins the other day, and was very pleased at how quick and easy it was. Can't wait to hear more about the online banking transfer option!

Can you expand on the "Legal reasons"

I thought the whole point of Bitcoin was to avoid all the "legal red tape"

If there are legal restrictions constantly being placed on the currency whats going to be its point? It will just be another legally scrutinized and taxed with fees currency no?

lol, this is gonna be a very long conversion that we've had many times over on this forum .

Feel free to PM or email me, we can go into it.

Why doesnt bitinstant offer wallet to paypal transfers?

What does an exchange do for this type of transaction other then cause another hurdle and more fees?

Cant you just scrape the exchange rate and transfer from wallet to another account?

Legal reasons.

still see no mention of instawallet as a transfer choice

I'd try https://www.fastcash4bitcoins.com/ if I were you. They are a reputable company, active on the forums and their interface is very intuitive. I have not used them myself, though.

They are reputable, their CEO and myself spoke earlier today in fact.

I have used Bitinstant before and just tried to figure out how to do what you're asking. I can't see a bitcoin payment option in their "Pay From" drop down. I guess they do not offer it.

Instawallet is just a wallet! You need to put your Bitcoins on one of the exchanges and use that.

Will BitInstant ever have away of transferring from lets say:

My Instawallet to paypal or even better my ACH or a service like Western Union

Is there any service that does this. If I have coins in an instawallet what is the best way to turn them into USD?

We already do BTC --> Paypal

Our debit card will be the cheapest way to withdraw USD at any ATM, online purchases ect. (SIGNUP: http://goo.gl/vl3nX)

We do Moneygram deposits, credited within 30 minutes.

Within a few weeks we will have Online Banking Transfer live in 29 countries with 91 banks onboard.

I tried using bitinstant the other day, and when I went to do the cash deposit it turned out there was a hold on the account or something.

I have no idea what you mean by this.

Did you email or call support? Did you complete the transfer?

Our accounts are all good.
