Some on Telegram say this guy was COO. But I don't know if true.
Be carefull. All around them is scam now. Never send funds for help, don't click links or install anything fake supporters send.

Be carefull. Scammers now use telegram @bitker to get you to pay for help.
They also try to get you to install things on your PC.

As usual, these scammers will really took the opportunity on such situation because they are sure that there are desperate users would
fall out on such scheme because they had locked out some funds into that exchange but even on my own common sense, who the heck
would pay out or give something for help? and asking some installation? Only fools or having no minds will follow to these BS.

I also lost some tokens there. And this is not the first small exchange that is being closed for one reason or another.

I do not think it was a hack. Most likely they just took the money.
Simple and the most common but people never ever learn not to use up these small exchangers

We are thinking how to withdraw your funds from Bitker
You shouldnt hope coz chance for that to happen is 1% or even 0.

Link to the new telegram group?

Honestly, it's not a new group.

Just like the usual old Telegram crypto groups spammed with random crypto stuff but just became active recently because of this scam.

In the Telegram, scammers are already offering withdrawals. With pay per 1 ETH

Not much discussion left in their Telegram group (which is now renamed) and just full of automated bot post. Group admins also changed their username and surely will now go into hiatus then will just wait for their account to be nuked. Anyways, Where did you find this to served as others reference? I hope no one will fall on that obvious scam.

There's a separate Telegram group who is active discussing about the Bitker's exit scam. Some of the members do have active funds on Bitker and planning to take actions. Good luck to them.

Was the announcement made the same day they shutdown? They didn't leave some time for users to withdraw their funds?

I can't find anything about this "hack" they're referring to anywhere online and according to CMC, Maidsafe & Golfcoin teams reported that the exchange is withholding user's deposits, this definitely looks like an exit scam.
Its indeed an exit scam and its just a bullshit alibi that they had been hacked since theres no news regarding with it and if that hacking incident was true then
they do tend to hide it out just to keep their customers not to panic and leave the exchange but it didnt work out.If they are really telling the truth they wont make any announcement of sudden closure and leaving out their users in mid-air hanging up their money on their exchange wallets. They should at least put up some allowance or days for people to pull out funds but it seems it isnt the case on here.

Outage Announcement
What's the use of this ANN if they will close services in a short time, it's a scam case.
I checked the trading volume and it looks like there was a manipulation on Wed 08 May, Tue 25 June, Wed 28 Aug & Fri 30 Aug[1].
They are likely to manipulate and when they have not achieved the returns they decided to SCAM.

Yep, exit scam.

Surprised there are not more people here telling us about loosing their money because they had coins there.
It's just oddly quiet, usually when this happens we have people screaming about loosing their BTC

Website down.
Twitter down.
Telegram changed to sh*t.

Shutting down and deleting all of its traces and forms of communications at any platform is something not right. They are supposed to communicate with their users even for let's say they really got breached. How can they get in touch now if no such thing as active communication section is available?

Unprofessional. Surely an exit scam.

If anybody need that chat log I took a copy to day. But they have cleaned some messages and deleted some admins.
