It's different this time. With the L3+ (scrypt) the only competition was inno (A4).
This time it's inno, ibelink and Pineda.
On top of that scrypt has multiple profitable coins whereas X11 only has 2 maybe 3
Yup, I see one of two outcomes here, either the coins will increase in value along with a massive diff speak OR (what I think is more likely) -- the diff is going to spike, the coins value will stay around the same AND the difficulty will still see a massive spike.
If the latter happens I expect you are going to see some dirt cheap x11 miners out there while others lose their ass trying to break even.
Not to mention, (100% speculation) what if bitmain creates a 30GH version of the D3 (D3+ anyone?) at not much more money? Ouch.

Completely agree here, they are doing this to hamstring and shut out their competition. They are throwing their weight around trying to crush the smaller players.
