It’s the evening of the 15th now in China. I’m guessing it will be next week now before they ship. I’m sure someone would have posted here by now if they had received a “shipped” notification.

Not seen anything, they did originally say they would update around the 15th so hopefully soon.

Yes... I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to check their Twitter today - if they say they're shipping the next few hundred batch-1's I'd be very happy!

This is why we need to stop relying on platforms like twitter, facebook, and bitcointalk....

Anyone got Antminers Z9 mini? How they works?
I chat with Bitmain staff, wanted to cancel my june order but they refused....

I dont understand your question.
I have never heard bitmain refund before...
if you scroll up you can see that 77 unit is sent
You should got their email about voucher or double unit..depend on your batch.

You are wrong, Bitmain refunded money/coins 2 months ago.
Does anyone received new Z9 mini antminer, how does it work (10k sols on default?), chip temperatures are good?

Nice info about refund..first time I heard..well i've heard b3 refund but cant confirm the truth
Care to share some detail ?
If.you dont want to scroll, there's also working pools thread

That is great. What is power consumption of miner, did you tried overclock?

Someone wrote in another thread that Z9 mini can be overclocked on 643 freq at 15,4k sol, while using only 387 watts, did you tried this?

Would be interested to know if anyone here has already received or has seen an actual working Z9 ASIC. Anyone part of this community lucky enough to be part of the first 77 orders? I'm particularly interested in how far actual numbers are from bitmain's advertised hashrate / power consumption (10k sol/s @ 320w).

Seems like these Z9s will have a big impact on the future of GPU mining.

If you are wondering about the operation of the miner and what pools it works on you can visit that thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4404847.40;topicseen

theres no proof that zec team got paid its a rumor, ppl are even saying eth team got paid all that makes no sense
these devs have millions upon millions, they don’t need any money from bitmain

Isn't the "millions upon millions" they have, locked in as project funds? Of course we acknowledge that they get a huge portion of these funds but if really can't be much more than millions. If they gave themselves an absurd salary then that in itself it would be questionable. If they funneled project funds to do something for their own benefit that again would also be questionable and tell a lot about the project.

I think so. I think it's that site, Coinwarz and etherscan don't show the dropoff at all (though coinwarz IS showing a current, much smaller drop).

https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate

https://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/ethereum-network-hashrate-chart

Okay, it appears to be that website.

Thanks for your unbiased assistance, Greyday!

Actually I deleted mine because I read the Nano page wrong (T, not G). So then actually no idea whatsoever, that could be spot on. Maybe some API issue or something? My rigs seem to still be running ok...

Mine are running fine as well.  I haven't kept up with the difficulty.  Is it still the same?

Does anyone know what's up with Ethereum's hash rate?

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/ethereum-hashrate.html#1y

Pretty off topic, but no. It looks like maybe the reporting site is wrong, either that or Nanopool is currently close to 70% of the hashrate...

Okay, thanks.

I'm deleting my post now.

Zec wont fork at all even after recent 51% atacks zooko started talking more how asics are good for network(even tho those 51% atacks are being done probably with use of those same asics)looks like 20% of every block isnt enough for him Undecided All other equihash coins are forking(except komodo)probably to modifed equihash version(zhash) that need 2,5gb ram i think

It's hard to say.  Zooko is only one vote out of several on the ZCash team.  I'm seeing about a 65% chance of a fork being implemented.

Zec won't fork, at least for Batch1. Bitmain's already paid them. Thats why if you look at the price point of the Z9 batch 1 it started immediately at $2000 compared to the E3's initial price at $800. They couldn't buy Ethereum. It actually says about the dev teams. Ethereum is incorruptible, but Zec is a shitload of money hungry sluts.

You make some pretty good points.

I agree...  The only reason I said, "You make some pretty good points," is only to acknowledge the "possibility."  I have NO CLUE as to whether a bribe may or may not have occurred.
