I have had amazing good luck with my s17 pros.  I run 17 and all have every board.  We did replace 1 psu. As far as I know no one has been as lucky as me with s17pro gear.

my t17e  suck I only have 2
my t17+ suck I only have 1

my 3 t17 are good.

All my Bitmain gear has been very good so far. I don't know if it's pure luck or perhaps something to do with batches / climate here / my setup etc.

I'm running:

24 x S17e 60TH (running for 5 months)
6 x T17+ 58TH (running for 12 months)
12 x T17+ 58TH (running for 6 months)
21 x S19 95TH (running for 3 months)
2 x S17+ 70 TH (running for 8 months)
1 x S17 67 TH (running for 8 months)

I've only had 2 x units fail - both S17+ 70TH which lost 1 hash board each within a few hours of being turned on from new. They were sent back to Bitmain who replaced them with new units in a matter of days.

I've had no problems with any other units apart from the oldest T17+ which have a couple fans not working on the PSU's - but doesn't seem to affect operation (they are in a room with very good airflow).

The 17 series gears have an average of 30% failure rate, this is based on large samples of data and not a hobby miner with 2 or 4 miners, a few people got lucky but the majority did not, with a 33% failure rate you would expect at least 1 board on all miners to die.

Your numbers are just about average, but some members here will tell you they are not because they had some good luck with the 17 series, but looking at the bigger picture and large samples you are really just at the average rate.

The most common issue we all had with these gears is that terrible solder paste bitmain used, also the way they solder the heatsink, such issues are hard to fix and if your gears aren't under warranty then you are screwed, but there is hope, there are a few things you can try, check this topic and this topic

Has anything come of this?  I have 17 of them and 12 have at least one board that is defective.  Purchased all of them Jan 2020 or later.  What is Bitmain's stance on this?  Frustrating as I count all the down hashrate...

Any tips or suggestions?  I just emailed Bitmain support.  I have been a miner since the S1.

thanks...
