then my next question is this..is it usual to receive HW errors? Because that's why I'm wanting to upgrade to latest firmware. Its been running for 2 hours and it's getting 5 , 0, and 26 HW errors on the hash boards in order. So 5 on the first board, 0 on the second, and 26 on the third. I restarted it 2 hours ago because it had quite a few HW errors.. any suggestions? November 26, 2017, 10:25:47 PM

This may seem like a dumb question as well..but how do I know which firmware version to update my S9 to? It is the 14 th/s from the Dec 1-10 batch. It is running off of firmware from June, I need to get it updated but they have 4 different versions listed at https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=00720161126080548570Q2tDBXAH065D
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
EDIT: Actually, I just saw the frequency listed on each of the versions..my S9 seems to be operating around 650 to 660 frequency, so do I use the 3rd one listed with fixed frequency of 650?

What is everyone's opinion on the best pool right now? I was contemplating on using Slush pool and trying it out. I have 1 S9 mining but will have 15 to 20 more in by February. I've used Kano pool before and I loved it personally but it seems like it has lost a ton of hashing power since I last used it. They had a great topic that everyone participated in.

I pray dont happened anythinhg like D3
The S9 will probably be profitable for a while more so I don't expect a D3 situation unless difficulty starts going up like dash. There's still a risk with buying the S9, don't get me wrong, but it probably isn't as bad as the D3.I got a feeling there will be new S10 or S11 next year...

Yeah I had to search a bit but figured that one out. Funny thing is that mining bch would be useless with their own equipment. I wish they'd ship mine already

It's super pathetic they are only accepting BCH. The time limits I understand because people don't pay.....
Because these guys were part of the core group championing the creation of bch. It's in their interest to pimp it.

I paid about 1400 each
So by selling one for 1800
I get some risk protection on the other 3

I just bought one S9 and the APW3++ psu for Jan 21-31 delivery.
Got some use for that coupon they gave me for the D3..
I think I'm going to wait and see the upcoming AvalonMiner 821 from Canaan Creative before I buy more gear for hosting or here home.
