Blockchain is back up, so if you have not sent the refunds I would appreciate it if you did so. Thank you for being so helpful with this, an active admin is a good admin.

Refunded yours manually since the system never processed it.

Any word on my tx getting added or refunded? Blockchain is still down. Twitter.com/blockchain

We will refund all transactions for this round at the end of the round since blockchain was down for so long.

Hopefully this doesn't happen again. I'm looking into setting up bitcoind on a private server so this doesn't happen again.

Are there any good alternatives to using blockchain to track confirmations?

I heard there's a peer-to-peer version of Bitcoin where you don't have to rely on a central authority.

Doubt it will catch on though.

Smiley was looking for something simpler to set up like the online wallet of blockchain

I guess you're saying I should run bitcoind myself and handle the transactions that way?
Always.

Armory shows the coins sent at 11:22 PM EST, or 7:22 UTC.
Armory is now showing 2 confirmations.
Checked block explorer, it seems right, but Im not sure what time zone they use.

Edit: now with 4 confirmations.

You will adjust for the time they were sent at, correct?

Edit: If blockchain doesnt come up by the end of the round, will you refund the coins?

Yeah, we will adjust for the time that you sent the coins in at.

Normally the updates are near instant from blockchain, but in this case can you check if the transaction time on blockexplorer is accurate?

If blockchain doesn't come back up we'll refund all the coins.

I recently sent 0.2295 BTC to your site, only for it to never show up. My assumption is that since blockchain.info is down, it did not communicate with your site. If you read this before the round ends, please either add my investment for the score it was worth when sent, or preferrably refund me the coins. Thank you very much.

Can you show me the transaction hash?

Edit: didn't know blockchain is down, i'll add the transactions after the site comes back up.

Googling "Block Explorer should get you somewhere.

also, considering you have 0 risk, why not lower the fee (say 0.99%) to make it more competitive against sites like SD?

Yes, I think I will do that. I sort of just pulled 2% since I thought that's what people were using.

"Living the Kewl Life"
Nice idea!

agreed.

thought about a game similar to this. however, there would be a single address and you would join either group A or B based the tx hash (eg over/under 32768 -- for a 16-bit game).

i also thought of a few bonuses that would apply to individuals in the winning group (again all based on tx hash).

what do you think of the name "In It 2 Win It"?
wish i had the time to develop it.
