The puzzle is super extremely difficult, i have no idea how can they get the answer
Is it possible to make it easier or give extra hint for next puzzle?

intersting without the keyword, someone could solve the puzzle? Huh I have doubts about the veracity of the game.

As explained in the puzzle explanation (https://bitonic.nl/puzzle2016), some subsequent puzzles require keywords from the previous puzzle to be solved. In this case, Christiaan Huygens (the solution to the first puzzle) was the keyword that you had to use for the cipher.

Also url for puzzle 2 was https://bitonic.nl/puzzle2016/christiaanhuygens
I thought that might be hint but I had no idea how to use it Cheesy

Is it possible that you could give the next puzzles every 26-30 hours instead of 24?

Personally, it is difficult for me to be online at 15 EST on weekdays. So, may be you could do so, so as at least a few puzzles will be convenient to people living in various time zones?

Just a suggestion.

PROVEN TODAY'S ANSWER COULD BE 100% WRONG

So yeah,I tried solving the Cipher and the answer is not correct for the puzzle .

Now,to decrypt a playfair cipher we need a keyword .No I don't say that its your "Google Wiki link"which is a fact indeed.
Quote
The Playfair cipher uses a 5 by 5 table containing a key word or phrase. Memorization of the keyword and 4 simple rules was all that was required to create the 5 by 5 table and use the cipher.

Now since you haven't mentioned the Keyword ,I assumed "KEYWORD" as the keyword to decrypt the cipher .I solved the cipher and didn't get whatever your answer was suppose to be.But my answer started with FW RX. First I doubted I could make a mistake but then I cross-verified the solution with couple of online tools here :
http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/playfair.php

http://www.dcode.fr/playfair-cipher

Seems like even they couldn't decode it (not having a keyword specified is a big issue).Coincidence is,my answer was EXACT SAME as one of these websites answers! Which gives me confidence that my answer is probably correct on the given condition and keywords(Since the keyword was not specified I have freedom to use whatever I like).

If you or anyone can prove me wrong or show me how the solution mentioned for this particular puzzle is correct.I would be convinced!Or we know what's cooking up there. Wink

EDIT : This one is quite user friendly tool for those who don't want to get involved in much technical stuff : http://www.geocachingtoolbox.com/index.php?page=playfairCipher

1.christiaan huygens,
2.two thousand hundred,

are they bitcoin related ?

We created "bitcoin-related puzzles".
This are the answers. And I think this answers are bitcoin-related, but that is maybe subjective.
If you don't like it, I'm sorry....

No I dont escrow anymore.
Im a little sad about how the OP is treated here, on the other hand this is the most paranoid community I know. I remember the last time someone from NL (from blocktrail) gave away something and everyone was butthurt as well because it was not fair. They are giving away free bitcoin for fucks sake. If you dont want to "solve a puzzle for free"[1], by all means go hit a faucet for free coins.

will it be happen everyday really ?

This was our intention, but we changed our minds on this. I'll ask my collegue to change the OP.

Like Yesterday, even this contest was won by an address which doesn't have any past transaction history.Shady.
https://blockchain.info/address/1JhZWqKYQ2cxWhb4WJMKipA5LmxszpUrfP

The solver of the puzzle apparently knows what he/she is doing, since address re-use is bad.

well absolutely scam, your solving the puzzle for free.
or maybe op is the one who is earning for every correct puzzle you made.haha

It is true that our puzzles are not "provably fair". We made the puzzles, so we could give away the answers to certain persons, this is unavoidable in this game type.

What really adds on to it is,I believe the contest is advertised on this forum and unfortunately nobody from the forum is solving the puzzle but somebody else.@OP is it like the puzzle is advertised elsewhere from this forum that we're unaware of ?

Absolutely! We post it on Reddit, facebook, twitter, IRC, our website and so on.

is this what kind of celebration ? not PROVABLY FAİR ? but its opened for users ? lol.

so then why are we working for it ?

This is not gambling and we are not making money out of this. This is just entertainment with a small prize as bonus. We just think it is nicer way than just giving a bitcoin to a random user. You don't have to play Smiley

but I don't understand why is not PROVABLY FAİR ??
We've created bitcoin transactions that are only spendable with the correct answer. So in a way it is provably fair in that we can not change the outcome of a puzzle. We can however not prove that it isn't ourselves that claim the prize.

by the way I like so much first puzzle, more easy, more fascinating, I never seen something like this with btc related words Smiley

Attention Please

I tried solving the play fair cipher but I'm getting a different answer.Like my first would starts with FOUR.Anybody who can solve please cross verify please ?

EDIT : If you don't have any idea how the cipher works, please refer to this video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTL1aZteIXE

It says something about requiring a key to solve the code. Don't know what's the key for this.
