You are trying to enter one of the biggest and most competitive businesses niche in the world. Logistics is a science, it's an art. You need so much money to start this business
That's true, starting a business in this industry requires a huge amount of money. But no one here is starting any business... The whole point of Bitpost is precisely to break free from the limitations of traditional business and leverage the resources of the global community. Instead of building logistics centers, purchasing fleets of vehicles, and hiring employees, we can leverage private individuals from around the world who have their own buildings, cars, free time, and a willingness to earn extra money or minimize travel costs they would incur anyway.
This project is an analogue of Uber but in parcel delivery around the world.
That's right, Bitpost follows a similar model to Uber, which achieved great success and reshaped the taxi industry. We believe that similar approach could prove effective in the package delivery sector.
You'll be in huge trouble when the delivery guy steals the parcel
With Bitpost, stealing a parcel is completely unprofitable. Smart contracts ensure that if a delivery person steals a package, they automatically compensate the sender from their own funds any amount the sender expects.
and when someone gives an illegal parcel to a random employee of this delivery system.
This happens every day with traditional delivery services as well. In most cases, couriers don't face consequences if illegal items are found in a package, as long as it's clear they were working as a courier. We can't say for certain how this will play out when working for a decentralized platform like Bitpost, but we hope it will follow a similar approach.
Before going global, expand this business locally, in the capital of your country. This will be cheap and you'll see, if this project becomes popular and gains success, then you'll easily be able to attract investors and expand it.
Basically, it's not up to us where Bitpost services will expand. We are building a decentralized app with a map where anyone can place their own point or line, and wherever two points are connected by a line, it's possible to send a package between them. But of course, after the Bitpost software is completed, we'll do our best to have our team, friends, relatives, and so on provide the initial coverage of services in the areas where we live.
Also, fix your twitter account, it's temporarily restricted.
We had a restriction for several days, but it's all sorted now.
Just crazy, something that's out of the box, seems unique and can bring more potential and real utility of decentralisation.
Thanks for the kind words and belief in the project.
Do they have any native Crypto to engage with and cumulate some earnings?
Bitpost utilizes two cryptocurrencies:
- BPX - the official currency of Bitpost, used for paying shipping fees, rewarding logistics network participants, security deposits and compensating for lost or damaged shipments.
- BPG - the Bitpost governance token, which allows holders to propose updates to the original Bitpost protocol, vote on them, share in the project’s profits and speculate on the project’s value.
