Hi Everyone!

I hope you're having a great week so far. My team just published our next exchange review. In this review, we cover Bitstamp. Bitstamp is Europe's oldest cryptocurrency exchange which has withstood the test of time. You can read the entire review here:

i used to recommend bitstamp to others. it was my preferred exchange in 2013-14. but as time goes by, their selective scamming with KYC gets worse and worse. i wouldn't deposit money there unless i had proof that every dollar and satoshi that touches my account is unimpeachable.

check out the numerous complaints in the following threads, reddit, etc:

I really appreciate bitstamp. In 2017, when I just entered the market, I was introduced to Bitstamp by a friend.
At first glance, Bitstamp's interface is really very nice and easy to understand, for a newbie like me.
The transactions are very fast and the fee is very cheap. I still believe that Bitstamp is still one of the exchanges that has an important position in the crypto market.

Much like Coinbase and Gemini, Bitstamp has focused its efforts through the years on creating the most compliant trading environment possible. After floating through a few jurisdictions including stops in Slovenia and the UK, Bitstamp finally landed and headquartered itself in Luxembourg after the tiny country offered it a safe haven.

Since the beginning, Bitstamp sought a positive regulatory environment in which it could take off its shoes and stay awhile. The UK offered it an unregulated environment which didn’t suit the exchange’s desire to become a bridge between the traditional investment world and the chaos of crypto.
