I myself used the qt-wallet before but had some problems that it wasn't staking anymore. With the modern wallet it worked fine.
And yes it's safe.

Frankly speaking there is no value of those 500 Bitsynq coins you will get for wearing the avtar unless now the value has increased. Last week its value was just 0.6 cents which was like you did the promotion for free. Could somebody share the value of 500 Bitsynq coins in terms of Bitcoin?
Well the ICO price was 190 satoshi.
500 x 0.00000190 = BTC0.00095
But the real price still have to be determined when it comes on exchanges. Could be more, could be less.

you need to install the wallet first,.address would be created automatically for you..
