and many of them is regret because they only join in the cryptocurrency without having a knowledge or learning something related to cryptocurrency. but I am sure that some of them still hold their coins because they still believe that the market will recover and right now, they see that the time will come and they hope that they can sell their coins to recover their money or even to make a profit. the holder will make a big profit because they can hold their coins in the bad situations and they still survive until now and the holder will have a big smile in the face.

The Crypto market is crashing...  Now BTC= 7400$ & Eth=400$

What happened to BTC?

1.Thousands of people came into the Crypto field and started buying in Dec/Jan. So the market hyped unbelievably.
80% of them have 0  technical knowledge about Cryptocurrencies.
90% of them does not believe in Bitcoin.
20% of them have absolutely no idea what a cryptocurrency is and how the market behaves.
70% of them just wanted some quick profit.

2.Some idiots bought and sold for quick money and dumped the market.
3.Some people got panic and started selling.
4.Whales saw this early and slowly sold part of their holdings. Now they are buying at low prices.

What happened to Eth and Ethereum tokens?

1.BTC going down = Eth going down
2.People with 0 crypto knowledge started investing in ICO's.
3.People with 0 crypto knowledge started doing bounties.
(Those are the spammers in Bitcointalk)
4.That two kind of people started dumping ICO's for quick earnings
5.Scam ICO's and useless ICO's came in to play.
6.Because of the ICO flood, ICO's became less profitable.
7. So some ICO investors lost their faith.
So Eth and most of its tokens crashed.

What happened to Other coins?

BTC going down = Every other coin going down

What will happen next?

1.Whales who sold for higher prices will buy slowly at low prices and will become 1.5* rich.
2.Some people will leave the Crypto market.
3.Believers will HODL.
4.The market will slowly recover.

Truth is never bitter it is just what it is and I think your analysis is spot on, many of the people that began buying at the end of 2017 were people that only wanted one thing and that was money, unfortunately they were not professional traders or investors since it was obvious the market was overvalued already so they bought at the worst possible time and now they are paying the consequences.

many people jumped to the hype train when the price was increasing rapidly. and now that the price declined, there comes the panic seller causing more decline to the value of bitcoin. they thought they could gain profit in just one night and get rich. g

We have to pass via this hardest time many time in the 12 months cycle. each person is aware of from the past years information that bitcoin usually drop itself at the begin of year and in the end it is going down in the value.they're the best those who definitely push the marketplace upwards, however the process is in reality slow but it does take place.

You are right, the best thing to do now is forget temporarily our investments and find other ways to earn new income. Yeah you are right bitcoin is for a long term investments.

It is very daunting to see your investment go down the drain ,so k don't blame those who are selling. The analysis is quite right and personally I started out in cryptocurrency with the minder of quick cash. It is only now that I am studying and learning. So hopefully others are doing same.

I think one of the truth behind the market crash is, it is not a manipulated movement for the price because it is all driven by the emotion of the people who bought bitcoin and since they seeing that the price of bitcoin is keep on going down, they also sell their coin which contribute to the dump and make the price goes even lower.

I think those who bought at a very high price are the one selling for cheap now. Most of them had zero knowledge on crypto but bought them because they thought it will make them rich overnight.

That market works, basically. People panic selling due to market crash and that their choice they cannot be blamed of their actions. There are still people wants to hold no matter happens and they are true holders, never panicked at all. As of today market is getting better day after day to say at least. Still so many believers that bitcoin can recover on full steam.

The bitter truth behind the fall of the market is the collapse of our investment, but in the crypto actually nothing fails, because if you buy bitcoin at a high price, after a few days the bitcoin price goes down, you can withhold bitcoin for long-term investment, or if you have courage, you can buy more bitcoins at current prices, so your losses can be paid off with a slight bitcoin price increase.
Its fall in bitcoin prices is caused by too much selling rather than demand.

As per my knowledge, The reason behind this drop is people don't hold their money. If they see a quick change in any coin, they simply trade their coin and convert it to another coin.

The exchanges are gaining popularity day by day. Second is, there are so many scams around bitcoin in past 1 year.

My full telegram group is filled with spammers as well as ICO holders. Exchanges like hitbtc is also a spam.

So, I guess we simply use some good exchange and HODL our currency and I promise, it will not go in vain.

I personally use binance and kucoin and this page really give some good review about both of them, I advise you to read this binance review and kucoin review.

I would say that that is pretty accurate as to what happened. As more and more people with next to no knowledge of bitcoin started buying and selling as soon as it looked like they weren't going to receive the profits they were hearing people making. Like they honestly though they were going to become overnight millionaires.

Got the cycle here. I do see some hypothetically truth in your post. Sadly, the bitter truth is that we are being a part of whale's getting rich. They can dump and pump the market, we seems to be the one to be a panic seller and they want that scenario to happen.

Well, to some extent I agree with you. Because of the panic of short-term holders who quickly began to sell, we see further consequences. But the market will gradually recover. I believe that.

Of course anytime the market can really recover its only the question of when or what will be the factor that will push the market again.

I think the main factor of falling the price of bitcoin and altcoin is, because too many negative issues surrounding this year's crypto. So cause panic, especially on newcomers.Sehingga greatly affect the price of crypto

Most of the main factors have been put by the OP.

What will happen next?

1.Whales who sold for higher prices will buy slowly at low prices and will become 1.5* rich.
2.Some people will leave the Crypto market.
3.Believers will HODL.
4.The market will slowly recover.

I kinda agree with the part of "What will happen next?" Up until now, it is just a vicious cycle like what you have prescribed on that part. Small people ( small coins and small guts) will leave this market and the HODL-er will be the winner, well not a fully winner, since the winner is always the whales.

Well i think a lot of people already left the market leading up to this point. They've dragged the market  to this value anyways and it's going to be better without them. Btc went close to going under 6k before pulling back and personally i believe we're under the whales moving the market right now.

Its more than 6 months since we see the bears taking over the market. I'm sure that weak hands have left already or at least didn't renew their interest on the market because it didn't go on their favour. Thinking this will made them rich is the wrong mindset in the beginning and that's why they are burned easily and no choice but to get out and run to the exit as fast as they can.

I think you should give very strong evidence to be able to prove your statement is true and you better give some clearer picture to make it easier to understand for beginner like me!! Very nice project!

I have to agree with what you have said OP, this is really what is happening now with bitcoin, mostly it is just the whales that affects the prices of the coins the most. From here on out we should all be ready for the worse because now the market has managed to break the 6k barrier that we were all rooting for so now anything is possible

This is not the first time market is crashing and it will not be the last time. The TA indicated that market will adjust before the pick again, there may not be significant pick this year but expecting steady rise from mid of 2019

I quoted this because I agree that this is happening in bitcoin. I don't focus on ETH that much, only on BTC.

Until now, the market is crashing and I agree with that many just came here in crypto because they think that bitcoin is a way of "HOW TO BE A RICH IN A QUICK WAY". Most investors don't have any idea or knowledge in bitcoin and this is a hard truth. Most just throw their money hoping that it will give them profit which is way way wrong. They don't know how to read the charts. What is the end result? They will post in different platforms with rage saying "Now is the end of Bitcoin" or "Lost half of my capital, What to do?" blah blah bullshit..

Since most investors don't know anything about bitcoin, they are easily affected by the FUDS spreading across the internet and then when they saw a negative news, they will sell all of their bitcoins even they will loss some of their money. They panic sold. STUPID NEWBIES!!!!

I know that whales are manipulating the market right now although I don't have an evidence but many know it already. "Who controls the money controls the market" Cheesy
