That was too long. Exchanges are getting worse with withdrawal limits so low.

I don't understand why Bittrex gave themselves the permission to block/steal user's money.

If there is a legal issue, it should come from an official prosecution, not from a bittrex internal investigation...
Probably they investigate first in order to avoid official prosecutions. It is their and the other users' interest to avoid a total shutdown because of some shady users...

Maybe, but it's not right to block all the funds, and not just the ones who have been indicted

For those who do not currently have problems does not mean that in the future I will not have it .. Be careful

I finally got back what is mine, though unfortunately after so much, indeed too long
The pressure against bittrex these days is strong, I advise you to be careful
Thank you for updating us. The thing is that other bitterex users are still having issues with their accounts. At the very least, the resolution of your case gives others with the same issues hope. It is pretty clear that there are serious going on issues at bitterex, but your posts gives hope that they will be resolved.

Probably my case was making too much noise, so they were forced and after 4 months:

Look at every thread, probably they had never met someone like you so persistent and this must have caused them fear

Bittrex is becoming more ridiculous, yesterday I went to slack to ask why my ticket was not solved and...

I advise you to be warned, lately many articles against bittrex are coming out.

they must be under external pressure

Hi

I am Enhanced user in Bittrex. They blocked my account and after I sent them ticket they told me to send the selfei with Id and a written paper( Bittrex+date ) in hand, I did so. They did not unblock me. I asked the support in Slack, this is the answer to me:

We have your ticket @Luci - I don't have a response for you at this time

1) you still didn't post the ether address. Are  we supposed to type it from the screenshot, char by char?
2) imagine you were Bittrex. There's a fraudulent bot which scams users to send ETH to an address which happens to be your account. Why would any scammer put a recipient address into his bot which isn't his? It just doesn't make any sense.
3) did you never wonder why you receive ETH deposits, just like that? If my account started receiving deposits without me sending them, I'd get very wary

If the bot isn't yours, then how would the actual thief get access to the stolen funds?
Do you have 2fa enabled?

I probably explained to you badly and you did not understand what I said, forgive my English but I'm not native speaker
Has happened exactly what spamsucks said:

I think what the OP is saying, the person who stole the ETH sold it to him on localbitcoin. Not that the address for the scam was his, but funds were moved from the scam address to his own.

I'm a buyer/seller here on btctalk and on localbitcoin, i buy and sell some crypto every day.

I have bought these 13.86 eth from an user that has contacted me by localbitcoin and I was given them directly to my bittrex account.

As you can see this is the address of the scam: https://etherscan.io/address/0x831201ee88fdd53b25c5e1d5cfbc222c319d4330

There is only one movement from this address to my bittrex account and this movement was more than two weeks after the scam.

And yes, i have 2fa actived. My account has the highest level of verification, they have my documents and my proof of residence, so why should I do that?
