Perhaps now that BTC is going "up-up and away" users are more skeptical to tip bot or other users straight away but there are other casinos as well that have good rains. Besides, this is a tip from a user (to the bot) and not from the bot itself. So you should probably thank the tipster...

woah thats sick . i never see this happen on other gambling site especially now that btc price are pumping too much .

AFAIK we need to wager some satoshis before we can receive rain (it was 0.01 btc, not sure if it already changed or not). There are also 2 rooms, for regular and VIP rooms which you can chat and receive more rain on VIP rooms

The explanations are in the rules and faq if you take the time to read it, but I can tell you: you have to be active to have a chance to get it. It's pretty much random in my experience, but I have found that on the days I wager a lot of BTC, I tend to get selected for the rain. It's definitely not something for you to rely on though. Plenty of other bonuses to look for when on BV so you don't need to just do that one thing;)

^^ Old and ugly? I always thought Bitvest was pleasant to look at. Yes, pastel and yes quite cartoon-graphic sometimes but it totally fits the mold of crypto casinos. Especially with the kind of questing crowd banter you see in the chats, it doesn't at all feel like it should change. Try night mode maybe that helps.

The investment page maybe could do with an update, with a better display of the history (investor here, so I open and close quite a lot). But other than that, no need to fix what's not broken!

I do not think it is "old and ugly" as harsh as this guy says but we do have to agree that there are casinos out there with much better design and UX as well. This doesn't mean bitvest is bad looking, this just means there are better looking ones. So, just because something is "good" doesn't mean it can't be "better" neither.

Hence I believe the criticism is real and could be taken seriously, updating the look of a website time to time is a tech world trend, every website updates their look time to time and gets a new design, facebook does it, reddit does it, yahoo did it, I mean there are plenty that keeps recycling their look and getting a new one. I believe it is time for bitvest to start working on a new look as well, it will take sometime anyway.
