BITZ was always meant to be taken seriously and the aim is to make it look "professional" as this is the aim for the new website, so I have made some new logos, very simple ones, but having looked at numerous other crypto logos I like the simple ones. A simple and recognisable logo / symbol will make it easier to promote. Please any comments or suggestions...?

The name "BITZ" was chosen for two reasons; it's short and to the point and reflects the nature of the "thing" which is an electronic currency. Secondly, there is no "coin" in the name as is customary for most cryptos. I suspect that in the future, the term "coin" will be obsolete but the concept of bits (BITZ) and bytes will not be obsolete.

The Z is meant to symbolise what sets BITZ apart from the bits and also it is meant to symbolise the Z as the last in the alphabet and so the last currency you will ever need.

The initial logo was a bit random and I want to streamline the graphics and use that in the design of the new website and the new wallet.

Any thoughts???

Would like to help you on this, but I have no designer skills... Shadow_runner is pretty good at graphics, he might want to help you on this, if you ask him, as he was participating in the launch (was doing his instamine thing Grin )

I think a simple logo is indeed better, especially when looked at in small size. Colors are very nice, but I would prefer some subtle background details, or maybe some texture used on the logos you presented (both on white part, and blue one), so they can look good/interesting when looked in bigger resolution too.

Price is very low over at c-cex.
Anyone with an interest in bitz can get them with less cost than mining.

I agree, the price is really low, do your own math, there will be maybe 2,000,000 coins after the PoW phase which will end soon and I think that 200-300 satoshi is way down.

Backup, then delete everything except your wallet.
If you get an error on first run, leave the wallet to sync fully then restart wallet.
Did this, after having same problem, worked ever since.
I already did this, it doesn't work for me...

The start-up error is 'normal' and it happens once and this appears in many wallets, not just BITZ but I dont know whats causing it. It should work after you close it and then start it again. I don't know how many people have this issue but I haven't heard. Part of the reason I put the poll up (that nobody has answered) was to get an idea of how many people are using Windows. I am not able to count the number of downloads.

True, the start-up error is normal, but it happens all the time i start the wallet.

Did you check the link i posted before, i have the same issue. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18361026/runtime-error-for-qt-application

I would have answered your poll, but its impossible - forum just shows the question and the list of options to answer, no buttons to actually vote. Probably you forgot to activate something...

Yes, thanks, that a bit embarrassing  Roll Eyes but it's been fixed now, please vote so that I can see what you are using. This may help to direct future changes etc.
