Same here, I think Bitcoin will have the first Spot ETF approval than Ethereum. I think it's because that it will be the trend setter, I mean Bitcoin is considered the mother of all crypto so it should be obviously the first one to get the approval from the SEC.

Besides, there are also a lot of big entities filing for it, not just BlackRock (although it is the biggest so far).

But I do believed that SEC will approved Bitcoin first before any cryptocurrencies, even Ethereum.

Gary gensler will be more strict about letting the ETH ETF be approved though he already said in one of these statements that ETH is a commodity. It won't be easy for the ETH community but it is true that if the bitcoin ETF gets approved ETH will be as well eventually. There are other big asset managers who filled out the ETH ETF as well but the community is more focused on Blackrock's ETF approval because they think BlackRock has influence over the whitehouse and it is a green light for the whole industry if their ETF gets approved. This is positive news but we should not be overly excited as the market will not go straight upward.

Bitcoin will be approved first, almost certainly. They are not going to get an Ethereum one confirmed before the ultimate, most well known cryptocurrency. What this tells me though is that the bitcoin one must almost certainly be expected to be approved. Blackrock, as the largest asset manager in the world, does not do failure. They must have had encouragement from the SEC regarding the bitcoin ETF so have pushed ahead with an Ethereum ETF application. Exciting times lay ahead I think.

Recently, as far as I know, there were surveys on CoinShare where only 25% of the respondents got the Bitcoin ETF, while ETH got 75% of the respondents that it would approve of the ETF.

So this Ethereum ETF filing is a pretty significant development in the crypto world. So Blackrock's entry into ETH could provide new investment and legitimacy for the asset. And of course, the implication of the Blackrock ETH filing in the ETF is to increase its institutional adoption and liquidity as well.

I think Bitcoin will be approved first. Because it was filed first and there is high probability that's its gonna get approved. The next ETF filing might be Solana because its also strong and backed by big organisation like Google cloud and some other big companies.

I believe the same thing and it is because of that court order that SEC has to follow barring any other reasons that SEC might use to delay implementing what BlockRock won in court. Plus it seems that SEC is more friendly to Bitcoin these days. there are saying that the final approval of BTC ETF can come in January so it can be a big welcome gift on 2024 just in time for the halving. Now, on the other hand, there is also a big chance that eventually ETF for Ethereum can be approved but this might be taking some time considering the environment that SEC has now under Gary Gensler.

Suddenly the highest market cap altcoin has been shocking announcement about this ETF filing.

Do you think Ethereum will be approved first before  Bitcoin?
Or Bitcoin first then Ethereum?
Yes even ethereum got pumped a lot today with this news. I think it will be bitcoin that will be approved first as this one has been months of waiting, we can say that SEC will likely prioritize a longer application from it considering it is also the first crypto that has been doing the application. But it is also good if eth got approved.

It is true that ETFs have been a hot topic recently particularly due to the speculation surrounding Bitcoin ETF approval.  it is difficult to say which Ethereum or Bitcoin will be approved first. If Ethereum get approved for an ETF it could potential for Ethereum value. The approval of Ethereum's ETF could serve as a positive precedent for other altcoins too. But thing is that the approval order of ETFs for Ethereum and Bitcoin are pending and it is difficult to predict which will come first.

ETF has been trending lately, it's because of Bitcoin which has a lot of rumors about Bitcoin ETF approval, and most of the final deadlines of Bitcoin ETFs are next year.

And do you think after Ethereum is approved on their ETF, any other altcoins will follow too?
At this point everything is on the hands of the regulators but I would be surprised if an ETH ETF was approved first, as we have seen many attempts to get one for bitcoin approved and it will be kind of weird that this happened for ETH instead, however the possibility is there and it could happen, and regarding other altcoins getting ETFs that seems unlikely at the moment as even if there are other good projects, they are very far away from ETH and its influence over the altcoin market.

And they said it can be approved as soon as a few months in January. I think there is going to be alot of people surprised if Ethereum gets approved before Bitcoin does. This maybe is not a bad time to stack some eth.
