If I send $100 btc using Exodus or Electrum how much will the fee be? How many days will it take to clear?
Exodus wallet: You can’t control the number of fees "set custom fee". In general, they use conversions such as this site https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/.
Fee will be about 170 sat/b "without segwit " High fee Not recommended.
How many days will that take to confirm?

If you're gonna go with the recommended fee on bitcoinfees then that will be included in a block very fast but you don't need to pay that high since the mempool is pretty much empty these days to the point that even the 5 sat per byte transaction's are getting through. Actually I made one a few hours ago with a 36 sat/byte fee and it got confirmed in just a few minutes.

Just to be clear when it comes to miner fees, the amount you're sending to has nothing to do with it as the factors that mainly affects it are: the size (how many inputs and outputs) and the current network condition (overloaded or nah). For instance, a $100 can be in 1-2 inputs which will be cheaper and it can also be in 10+ inputs which will require higher fees. As for the network condition, if its overloaded meaning to say if there's huge number of pending transactions to be confirmed, fees will be higher and lower if there's nothing much.

You can check the network condition here: https://dedi.jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#2h.
And I actually use this one in estimating fee's aside from the mainstream ones: https://estimatefee.com

You should seriously consider importing your wallet into another like for example electrum which I believe I posted a tutorial of in my previous post (#3). Just be sure to get the latest version.

You can export your private key from Exodus wallet "windows ctrl+shift+D " and import it into any segwit wallet.

Electrum: Best option for you you can "custom fee" and send 100$ with "0.5$-10$"fee.

From Blockchain.info -------->Electrum

From Exodus -------->Electrum

If you do not like Electrum wallet try this GreenAddress Bitcoin Wallet

The cheapest method is to exchange BTC for ETH is using Currency exchange or zazarb after that you can use Exodus wallet to exchange your ETH into other altcoins.

What honestly your plan? you wanted to convert your bitcoin from blockchain to ethereum?
No.
I need to pay someone bitcoin. My funds are inside Blockchain.info

I i heard lots of blockchain user experience this bug for a long time and until now they are still having this issue but the other blockchain user solved their issue by verifying they own the account from blockchain support,...
So your saying their problem is identical to mine? My problem is there is no "FROM" box and no "To" box after I click SEND in dashboard.
"From" box is where I input my adddress and "TO" box is where I input receivers address.

I think browser cache and cookies consumed more so it may not work. Please try to clear it and try once again. If you still does not recover from this issue. Please use the below links.

They are always delay in responds due to lots of customers so if you still wanted to wait for blockchain to solved your issue much better to wait for their responds and maybe they can fix your issue..
What is the average wait for Blockchain.info support to relpy back to customers? How many days?

Usually it takes around 7 days and more to get the e-mail assistance buddy. You can find some assistance in FAQ have you tried all those!

Not sure about the average time but it could really take a long time like a month or so? and not to mention it doesn't guarantee that you will get an answer that you're hoping for, I've seen lot's of people who got crappy unrelated answers from them.

It's been really a while since this notice showed up and it's still there until now

Notice: Our support team is currently under heavy load and may take longer than usual to respond to your request.

if you really need to access your funds, then import your mnemonics to electrum/exodus/any other BIP39 supporting wallets.
1. After I do this will they be delays in sending btc using exodus considering recent transaction blockchain congestion's?
I don't think there will be any delays when you send a transaction, although there might be delay getting your tx confirmed (depending on the fees).

2. Are electrum/exodus running smoothly, any delays in transaction times?
Both should work fine, i would recommend using electrum though.

3. Will the receiver have to wait long and what is typical fee at the moment?
Again depends on the fees you send the transaction with. electrum should automatically select the optimal fees. you can also check for fees here (https://bitcoinfees.earn.com) and set your own fees in electrum.

I'm not sure but there are a lot of people complaining about them recently so If I were you, I wouldn't use them now.
Have Blockchain.info sorted out their issues yet? It's been a few weeks since your post, when do you think their processing will be back to normal?

The only thing that i know would be alternative solution is to get the private key since you have your mnemonics you can follow magento said after you importing it into electrum wallet backup your private key where your bitcoin save and sweep it in coinomi after that use their shapeshift or changelly for cheaper fee when converting your bitcoin into ethereum..
This is just for alternative if you really wanted to do exchange your bitcoin into ethereum by sweeping your private key in coinomi you can also just send it in exchanges from electrum wallet..

I've seen problems with blockchain.info recently, but most of them are regarding the UI and not actually people's accounts being hacked, or them being locked out of their accounts. It's either some field, or button isn't working.

Since i'm still hearing about these complaints i wouldn't say that the issues have been "sorted out" yet. And that problem won't be resolved unless they address it on a large scale in the site, and redesign it to make it bugless. Another guy on the forum said that blockchain.info wouldn't let him send any amount of btc, no matter how high he set the transaction fees to be.

As potato chips said, if you really need to access your funds, then import your mnemonics to electrum/exodus/any other BIP39 supporting wallets. I'd recommend moving your wallet/funds to electrum permanently, or until blockchain.info sorts out their problems.
This situation isnt really alarming but quiet irritating. I might not experience such problem but there are still people who do experience it up to now.About on having a notification is really important if they did already fixed this problem or not. I might even believed that having problem on input boxes are just because of net connection but im entirely wrong on my assumption.Electrum is much a better choice than on any web wallet.

They are currently under heavy load of inquiries so you should expect a longer waiting time.
If I were to exchange BTC for ETH and if the exchange were to be conducted 'in-house' within Blockchain.info portal - they use Shapeshift - would this exchange go slowly due to btc current processing issues and would it be expensive to exchange?

I'm not sure but there are a lot of people complaining about them recently so If I were you, I wouldn't use them now.

Yes it'll be expensive compared to normal because of the network congestion, I think your deposit has to confirm in the nearest block as much as possible because I've seen a lot of users whoose transaction (deposit) got stucked for days and it's either "trade failed" or stuck to "exchange in progress"if it ever confirms after those days. As for withdrawal fees they released a list of it, since exchanging in blockchain.info is powered by shapeshift, I think these also applies to them Huh https://info.shapeshift.io/about

If you have a specific wallet that you want to import to, Let me know.
I have Exodus and mnemonic for the acc from blockchain.info. How should we proceed from here?

From what I know exodus doesn't let you create multiple accounts so this process will most likely overwrite your current wallet but if you want, you can just create another user account in your pc and install another exodus there like what they mentioned here: http://support.exodus.io/article/54-can-i-create-multiple-accounts-or-users

Exodus also uses BIP39 for their seed so you can just paste your seed in Portfolio --> Restore from backup --> 12 Word recovery phrase.

I tested it and yes it works, the address is present although my past transactions weren't there  Undecided. And I was only able to retrieve my first account.
If you have funds on your second account, I'm afraid you will have to get the private key of a specific address and after that you can import it.

the "From" and "To" boxes are not visible which means I can't input btc addresses into them.

I have a big guess that the main problem is your internet connection, I didn't encounter this kind of error eversince. For more convenience using blockchain.info wallet, I will suggest that use their mobile app so it will need a small amount of data and can load the app easily including the sending option.
This is the most possible cause of problem which it doesn't really show those input boxes because it haven't been completely being load yet because of poor internet connection.I can say such thing since I have experience this when I'm using mobile data connection on my phone but I have tried for how many retries until my connection was stabilize then the problem disappears.

If the problem still persists, It can be a problem on their side and only blockchain.info can solve it so you should contact their support at the following links:

They are currently under heavy load of inquiries so you should expect a longer waiting time. On the other hand if its urgent and you have to access your funds asap, you can import it in another wallet. Electrum is the best choice for that IMO

Tutorial: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed

*When electrum prompts you to enter your seed, Click options and tick the BIP39 Seed Box

*Please note that when importing, your funds will be accessible on both wallets which is why it's highly advisable to transfer them in a new wallet (with different seed/PK's) once the network has stabilized to avoid high fees.

If you have a specific wallet that you want to import to, Let me know.
