Financially it doesn't work because the resellers are clearing their stock at 5BTC, and once clear will get the new stock and probably retail at 3.5 again. The distribution network makes it pointless for anyone else to attempt to challenge this.

oh, i meant for those interested in less than 20. Certainly its a good thing that prices come down but it seems only way smaller miners will see that price is if we've bought direct before or via a group buy (which will eat into valuable mining time).

This is at least the 2nd time from what I've read. At least the guy who bought USB in bulk at .31 could at least break even or get a miniscule profit though.
