Actually, fee doesn't depend solely on tx size. It depends on:
 • Input amount.
 • Input age.
 • tx size.

so what factor that affect on those  ?

I'm ever receive a faucet when I was play bitcoin for the first time. Although the transaction is small but the fee is quite high. I'm wonder what it could be happen...

You got higher transactions because your tx size were bigger. If you have lot of small inputs, which is what the case when you earn from faucet, your fees will be higher. IMHO the best thing you can do is

• send all BTC to new address with smaller fee but not too small.
• use Coinbase or Xapo assuming they don't charge whole tx fee they are paying from us.

Hi, I do a transaction yesterday, with out fees (this is the error) and today, 18h later say "Unconfirmed Transaction!" and 0% Network Propagation.
What can i do?

Next time use minimal fee at least 10.000 satoshi or BTC 0.0001 when you're using custom payment on blockchain
When you send bigger amount you need a bigger fee
The minimum relay fee for nodes to relay your transaction on a standard Bitcoin Core latest client is 1,000 satoshis. If you pay 1,000 satoshis, those with the minimum relay fee set at 1,000 will relay it. The more the number of nodes relaying your transactions, the faster it would reach the miner and be confirmed. Bigger amount does not necessary means bigger fees. If your transaction A has a single 10BTC inputs while transaction B have 20 inputs which totals up to 5BTC, transaction B will end up paying a higher fee since the transaction size is bigger.

can you provide your tx id ?
Without a fee , the transaction will not confirm for uncertain time ( analogy: you're not paying the miner, and the miner will not mine a gold for you)

Actually, you are right Smiley
There are more things that need to be taken into account when calculating the fee.

After 24 to 36 hours the transaction should be dropped from the blockchain i've read. after that happens (you don't see the transaction anymore) send it again but with a fee and it should confirm in the next block or two.

in most cases that is possible, but in my case i tried sending 10k satoshi without fees about 2-3 weeks ago and it cancelled once in a while but the problem is, when it cancels it automatically sends the same transaction again and again.

Which wallet are you using? It looks like your transactions are being rebroadcasted. AFAIK Blockchain.info doesn't do it. I have tried sending zero-fee transaction and it wasn't rebroadcasted when it was dropped out.

Also 0.0001BTC isn't good as an input for zero-fee transaction. Zero-fee transactions which have input higher than 0.01BTC, size lower than 1000 bytes and input(coin) age is high, it will have higher priority than other zero-fee transactions. However, miners can choose which transactions to add and most miners include transactions with recommended fees.
No one has an accurate answer about Blockchain.info, I had mine rebroadcasting for months before it finally get into a block.

Zero-fees transaction MUST have no outputs lower than 546 satoshi and if possible 0.01 for each output. But even so, if someone else make a transaction that has the same amount as you with a fee, he is going to have faster confirmations. This depends on the network load most of the time.

If you put fees( minimum fees) you just wait for few minutes Tongue
most all who make transaction without fees, must wait for few days.

Just wait until the nodes clear it from their pending TX lists, and send it again with a fee.

Next time don't be so greedy put on few cents fee and you will get it confirmed within 20 minutes tops.

A few cent's does make a world of difference on speed.  I wish all wallets would warn people about not paying fee and how slow it can go, and it can not go aswell.

Although I'm nut sure if it's wallets not warning people.  Or if people are trying to save a little BTC causing most of these.

So far I've never waited this much for my feeless tx'es. I suggest you to rebroadcast your tx to the network. Because most of miners dropped your tx from their pools because of no fee. When you rebroadcast it they'll put it in their pools again.
here's a how to: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5822013

And also you should pay at least 1kb = 1000 sats for each tx, then it's included in a block in 1 hour tops.

Could you post the transaction ID? Depending on the size (in bytes) and the number and size (in btc) of the inputs used it might be possible to give you a rough estimate.

u have to wait for about 36hrs. its best to include a fee in any transaction u make so it gets confirmed. I usually use 1000 satoshi fee.
