Free coin? And you only need is to sign up and register. Sounds good right?I am already a victim of that kind of scam. So be careful in giving your personal information in return of free coin. Make sure that you did not give your personal information like password or private key. Always think your security before dealing to any promo like this.

Blockchain.com is a quite trustworthy company and the XLM-airdrop is not scam.
However you'll have to submit your personal documents to get KYC-verification in order to receive your XLM.
At the moment it might take quite long for your documents to be reviewed and there's also the question if the 25$ is worth submitting your personal documents (but as mentioned before: blockchain.com should be quite trustworthy and I wouldn't really expect them selling your data).
That is actually my own major concern, is $25 actually worth you releasing your personal information to some organization all in the name of earning some coin. Anyways it is a matter of choice but I would rather not go for this.

Yeah This a good way to earn some free coins. There are still something you got to note.
- some people might not get their kyc approved for a very long time. It's going to be stucked in 'reviewing' and probably get approved or rejected.
- To get approved quickly, use an international passport.
- After getting the free xlm you can either swap it or transfer it.
- When transferring the xlm, always make sure you include a 'memo'  if not your Free coins might be lost

I thought about creating a fresh wallet and going for the KYC. But in the end decided not to do it. The risk is too high and the rewards are really low. $25 is not enough for taking a risk with the ID documents. Also, I have to say that this is a worrying signal coming from Blockchain.info. They had never asked for personal information before this.

Free coins are always good, but there is one drawback, there is a restriction on the countries, so before you participate be sure to check whether your country is in the list of allowed!

This is a very good advertisement for me.  It would be nice if most of the projects were also handing out money.

I have seen the news several times and it is simply just a way of gathering people’s information which I am not too comfortable with, because what would they stand to gain for just giving out $25 for free for a KYC if they will not really benefit something greater through the information they have gathered.

I know the greedy ones will definitely sell their information out without asking what the information being gathered will be used for, anyway, they can keep their money to themselves, I won’t sell my information out until they really give a clear picture of what they really intend using those info for.

yes I have claimed the stellar coin prize that was distributed by the blockchain at the time, from the news circulating it was the biggest airdrop in history because the number of coins that were distributed was very large and it was a good way to increase the coin so that everyone had stellar so the coin turnaround will be able to continue to move because people will get coins in an easy way, pretty well for adding value to the portfolio because I also invested in the coin.

The good thing is blockchain is giving a huge amount of money freely to bring more crypto people but the bad thing is their KYC procedure! I tried to earn 25 USD worth XLM but the KYC was too much strict. Like they ask my every inches verification, like your face, shoulder, head, passport everything!!  I think Blockchain should reconsider about the KYC process.

Not for free, by selling your identity you will get 25 USD! It was a good giveaway and then it becomes shit! Their KYC verification is an insult to the crypto people. They ask you to verify through passport, then face recognition and then shoulder, head, smile, and so many things  Grin One of my friends wanted to do it and then he got mad! I don't like these tyes of KYC procedure!

You are just selling your identity on 25$ it was not free because you give your identiy to them, what if they had account breaching? what will happen to your identity? it was going to sell with someone without your consent so better choose where are you going to have a kyc if it is worth it or not.
You are right it feel's like it isn't really free since we need to do the KYC in order to receive this so called airdrop.
And for me it is not worth it, I wouldn't risk my personal information just to receive these airdrops.
We don't know what could happen to our personal information what could they do with it.
So we should really be careful about proceeding to KYC.

I think this wallet is one of the great wallet out there and it seem's like it is not just blockchain wallet that is giving stellar airdrop but also coinbase.

There's already a topic about the Blockchain.com XLM-airdrop:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/get-40-stellar-very-easily-5136652
Thanks for sharing I missed that post and I think those wallet that is giving some airdrops are trusted wallets,
And people are still doubtful about this coinbase and blockchain wallet has been around for long time now.

I sincerely commend stellar foundation and the blockchain team for putting up thus airdrop as a way to give to the community. I don't usually indulge in airdrop but when I came across this, I knew it would be worth my time. I have since cashed out the $25 xlm

Somehow most people are very infatuated with it where exchanging personal identities for money and clarity that we cannot yet convince, I hope to be a little careful with it all not forbidding everyone but more to be re-analyzed every everything that is very easy to get, all come back to themselves, each one says they still get profit, so please, but I'm a little sorry because everything here is very risky with a personal identity.

Selling your identity for $25 isn't really worth it to me. I kind of hate to do it even for exchange trading and then we are certainly talking about a lot more than $25.

Kind of weird and annoying how it's a requirement for so many giveaways now. I mean, you can sign up for online banking and since it's all automated, they don't even usually require a copy of your license or pics, or nonsense like that.

But for a $25 giveaway, they need your ID. It's kind of crazy.

I really can't understand why are you doing this. I will never support this content and its similar. It is not a new announcement. And you should direct us to your blog. It is not fair!
I am sure everyone in this forum has already seen this airdrop from blockchain.
