I use blockchain.

I even tried to create a new blockchain and test it there, I made a signature, used brainwallet to verify it and it was not able to verify.

I made sure there were no extra symbols or spaces but it still says invalid :/

blockchain is the vessel behind for example bitcoin.

you are probably talking about blockchain.info the website?

ofcourse he is talking about blockchain.info/wallet, I am sure he's not asking how to sign a message with bitcoin blockchain.

OP can you post a signed message here, Just make sure to add the today's date to it and a line for "testing purpose only", and we'll see if it verifies or not.

You need to provide the 'message' and the 'bitcoin address' with it for verification and I think the reason you couldn't get it verified is because brain wallet seem to be having some problem.

You can follow this step: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-to-sign-a-message-990345

Use cold wallet for store your btc especially with big amount, my advice is use electrum , easy to make a sign message and you don't need to download the data.

Get Electrum.   Using a web based solution complicates matters.  The webbrowser may be encoding the text in one way and the script is expecting another.

^^^review that thread for instructions as to how to sign/verify a message with blockchain.info

If you have the address in your wallet then you will defiantly be able to verify a message that you sign provided that you copy the address, message and signature exactly.

Hi, when I sign a message and then try to verify it, it says message is invalid or something like that.

I follow all the steps, and do the same steps from before (it worked before) but today its not working.....
