The block chain has specially designed for bitcoin by Satoshi Nakamoto for its proper functioning. The block chain technology is the part and parcel of bitcoin which is controlling and regulating the entire systems. Bitcoins all transactions are recorded in an electronic ledger .The implementation of block chain technology is unavoidable for the proper functioning of the bitcoin .Bitcoin is the first crypto currency started in the year 2009.The bitcoin and the block chain can change the face of the world in many ways. The block chain technology can be utilize for many other field such as for accounts, to regulate the financial institutions or banks and medical fields as well. It also started to use for the seaport logistics controlling .Block chain is leading us to a corruption free world because once it is encrypted in the system it cannot be manipulated or altered.Such success stories are are increasing day by day and finding new platforms to utilize the block chain technology.

When you read some introductory articles about blockchains you can often see dozens of potential applications described. However, this doesn't mean that they have been implemented in reality or have achieved a widespread success.

So, in this thread I would like you to post most successful examples of blockchain being already used by companies that have adopted it or by startups that were built around it. It would be perfect to also get an in-depth explanation of how that particular blockchain implementation works.

Crypto and blockchain still at early stage and i think not many crypto project have a real product. But there is crypto that already project and have income, for example is MWAT, they have real product and have many customer in several country. Beside that, many project have partnertship with reputable company
Your thoughts are true that there are not many real products that really use crypto as an exchange symbol in their company, but Revolution will develop with technological advances and inventions that support the blockchain to grow better.

I've been involved in a lot of different ICO projects but I think the CS is a pretty special project for me. It is a fully upgraded blockchain system that can handle more than 1 million transactions in 1.5 seconds. And it does exactly what it says, but it does not yet have a great community to be able to thrive on their technology. that's a pity.

Bahamas are trying to be the blockchain hub of the world, I doubt they will accomplish it considering the moment they start to make it work there will be bigger countries who will try to achieve the same that will get more attention and slow the progress bahamas are doing but it just shows how a whole COUNTRY could be really working towards making things more blockchain.

Bahamas are working with a company to bring their identification system (social security number of USA, basically your ID) to blockchain software so that the time spent on working on identification could be cut to less and it would be much easier to provide identification wherever you are instead of going to the office and getting one. It just shows how governments could lead blockchain adoption for these kinds of official things.

There is a lot of paper work in government world and all of them could be "blockchained" if I may.

To me the biggest will always be Ripple. I hate those dudes and I have never owned any ripple in my entire life and will never but to be honest you have to congratulate them on the blockchain technology. Ripple created their company for the sole purpose of using bitcoin as a financial system and to use the blockchain to transactions in real life.

They did contracts and agreements with banks and whoever else needed to send money to somewhere and they promoted their own blockchain to be used for it and to cut the fee's for such work. That way banks could use ripple blockchain to sen any amount of money anywhere they want without paying hefty sums of money. It is really just a great way to utilize blockchain and they have managed to create a huge company on this idea.

One of the blockchain success stories here in this business industry was NEM/XEM, why? I knew they've build a lot of communities all over the world such as Philippines, Taiwan, Dubai and more and they've being partnered with different companies as well or other coins using their platform like Loyalcoin, and Atlantico something like that.

I think you're right in that there have not been any major breakthroughs as of yet, companies are offering blockchain services (IBM) and even exploring the potential themselves but I've not yet come across any stories highlighting the adoption and the benefits. It could be that it is too soon for that, even if blockchain technology was adopted it would take some time to be able to see results and draw comparisons to previous methods/systems.
Well there are benefits and perks for the companies adapting the technology but they are in the long run because of the fact that crypto has not yet spread around the world and as soon as the demand for this currency rises high, we will be well off with the adoption.

No doubt, some will be evident pretty soon. But crypto could end up being a different story. I'm yet to come across any project which really needs crypto for their underlying utility to come true. The only true use cases that have been proven so far can all be achieved by bitcoin and they mostly come in wealth preservation and transfer.

Blockchain technology is very popular now that in this technology all transactions cannot be engineered and are not centralized in one place, this means it is very suitable to be applied in almost all industrial fields such as banking, education, and even health, the government should develop this technology so that all government activities can documented safely and transparently

I think this is one of the most successful real application and adoption of blockchain technology.

CEZA to House $100 Million Worth of Crypto & Blockchain Facilities

NEM and CEZA to Build The Philippines’ First Blockchain Hub

Ceza stands for Cagayan Economic Zone Authority which is part of the Philippine government. What do you say?

Can you consider this a good example for the government of Canada?

And interesting project for sure, but I don't see it being dramatically better than traditional centralized e-government projects, as they already offer a very good level of transparency and accountability.

I'm very suspicious of blockchain-powered games, because online games rely on centralized servers to work. So, even if you own your items on blockchain, you don't own their representation in the game, as client can always be changed. You need a 100% open-source and distributed game architecture to reap all the benefits of blockchain.

Also, I've been a gamer for many-many years and I've never had any problems with gaming companies, so I personally don't see what problems blockchain is going to solve here.

They have built a public blockchain wherein anyone can search government grants and contributions. So its very transparent and every constituents can verify the public information written in the blockchain.

As for private companies, at this point maybe there are a lot of blockchain projects around but I doubt if we can get as much as detailed information on how they implement it because I think they may have rolled out private ledger tailor made to their business needs.

There's good and bad news regarding this question.

Bad : No successful large scale and well known project uses the blockchain for anything.

Good : It means we're in the research, development and innovation phase of cryptos and not in their mainstream yet.

So investing now is still considered a pioneering adventure (and a risky one).

The world's leading diamond company, De Beers Group, is making good use of industry-focused blockchain platform called Tracr. Tracr is used for creating a tamper-proof and permanent record of a diamond as it goes through the value chain, starting from creating a digital certificate for a freshly mined stone, and then going through all the phases like cutting and polishing, continuously updating the information, and ending with the images of the polished diamond. All the data are asymmetrically encrypted and remain confidential unless the owner chooses to share it. Apart from creating a simple barcode-based unique ID for a stone, Tracr creates a unique fingerprint against which the diamond can be verified at any time.

In May 2018 De Beers said it had tracked 100 high-value diamonds from miner to seller using Tracr. The world's largest diamond producer by volume, Alrosa, has joined the platform’s pilot program in October 2018.

Unfortunately I haven't managed to find any more technical details except for that the platform is based on the Ethereum blockchain.

There cannot be a success story of the technology without the strides it has taken. If you noticed, quite a lot of attention is being paid to the working os this amazing technology. To give you a tip, check out this article. https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldelcastillo/2018/07/03/big-blockchain-the-50-largest-public-companies-exploring-blockchain/#60b1b9652b5b. I am sure you are amazed at the level of usage big companies are using the technology. Remember that technology is still being studied and improved.

I've seen a lot of articles like that, my problem with them is that they provide very little information, it's usually just "some company is exploring blockchain". I want to see how exactly those blockchains work, how their networks look, their consensus mechanisms. I want to see some detailed reports about their use, like how many clients have their served or how much money they have saved/made by switching to blockchain.
