It is always good news to hear that companies are exploring the possibilities that blockchain technology can bring. Even if they are not using Bitcoin, it is still helping the community. I think some people are oftentimes looking into their own self-interest and thinking about the "profits" which is why Bitcoin is always the front of the conversation. However, some other good things are happening in the cryptocurrency space that doesn't offer an immediate investment. Thoughts?

now it is not surprising that we see many companies who want to partner with blockchain technology because so far some projects that use their blockchain system have always been successful and provide good benefits for their companies and many governments have developed blockchain technology in their countries because they are interesting with technologies like this can make all transactions transparent and can store data from all transaction history so that it cannot be manipulated.

I consider that the use of blockchain technology is ideal in large companies with economies of scale such as bottlers that handle very strong and sensitive processes.

You are kinda right OP.
When the issue of Blockchain technology is been discussed, many people channel that discussion towards Bitcoin forgetting that they are two different thing.
Another vivid truth is that, many are not ready to try out new things with the blockchain technology but only ready to make us of the product or technology out of it, a good example is Bitcoin.

Yeah it is true. Some people when it comes to blockchain, all they think about is the "profit". They don't even know what blockchain is and how it is related to crypto currencies. There are even people out there that thinks blockchain and bitcoin are the same thing. Little do they know that bitcoin is a currency that uses the new blockchain technology.
What good thinks are you talking about? (can't access the link. Page won't load.)

The technology behind Bitcoin is really great which is why large companies cannot ignore its existence though it does not guarantee the mass adoption for Bitcoin. The good thing is that people are getting more aware about blockchain technology and of course the cryptocurrency itself since this is where all started for blockchain to become so useful. For me, seeing positive news regarding blockchain will surely make a big impact in crypto-space just like what Xi Jinping did on his recent comment about blockchain Wink

The word blockchain is already inclined with bitcoin and vice versa but that doesn't mean they are the same and such. Although bitcoin is still not fully accepted by most countries, it is already an achievement that they are now starting to appreciate blockchain technology. I think the next movement after most countries have recognized blockchain, is the adoption of bitcoin and crypto. I'm still optimistic about that one day, they'll accept it.

Putting bitcoin and profits out of the picture, blockchain could still pave its way to the mainstream because of it's usability and its technology. China's president Xi JinPing's announcement of  urging banks about upgrading their application using blockchain technology and supporting the idea of using blockchain related transactions and business. Blockchain's ability a digital ledger and its ability to keep record across many computers, the records cannot be retroactively altered without manipulation within the blocks is really what a bank and a financing industry needs.

Blockchain technology is flexible and can be adopted in a variety of industries. Although the adoption has nothing to do with bitcoin and cryptocurrency this proves that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies not joking. And although many interested in blockchain systems are fairly reliable, but the implementation of blockchain systems in the industry will not be instantaneous, because building a blockchain system in the industry requires considerable time and money.

Well obviously the blockchain and the cryptocurrencies are two separate things and shouldn't be mixed up.
While they are related to each other it's absolutely not necessary for a company to use cryptocurrencies if they are using the blockchain technology.
"Things that don't require immediate investment" is already happening since a long time since blockchain is being used by many companies these days.
There are literally hundreds of use cases of blockchain and many of them don't require cryptocurrencies to be used or an immediate investment.

These news aren't bringing enough recognition to Bitcoin, but rather the technology behind it. Which is somehow good if the public would eventually research deeper into what blockchain is used for and hopefully discover about Bitcoin. Blockchain now is related to cryptocurrency and while they discover these currencies, the first and foremost that they would recognize is bitcoin. Blockchain does become more relevant which could increase market demand but it would take time.

Exactly, we need more educational content around blockchain technology so people will actually see its potential. A lot of the spot light is around Bitcoin and finacial gains from the trading ascpects of cryptocurrency.

It is not enough that we have the entire internet to back us up with the knowledge concerning cryptocurrency. We need the mass media to tell the whole world about bitcoin and its functionalities. I've noticed that the impact of television shows is quite more believable compared to articles written by many people. Meaning to say that if we will be trusted by the mass media, our influence will be more effective to teach people and help them understand cryptocurrency way better.

It has always been a good decision to adopt, use and make some partnership with blockchain technology. However, the good things that we could pull out with blockchain, from the transparency itself that offers honesty with every users became disregarded because of unlawful acts such as frauds, thieves and other crimes that made its appearance seemed not useful. It is always been a good news to read about big companies or even the small ones start to adopt blockchain even though they knew that there's a bad side of it.

i don't think so because majority of what we see (like 90% of cases) are either not a company and don't have any product. like the kids in their parent's house running a fund raising to make many and calling that a "company". or they don't even have to use the blockchain technology as it has no usage for their business!

bitcoin is in "front" of everything because it is the only cryptocurrency that is worthy of the name crypto-currency! others don't do anything, are poor copies of bitcoin or aren't currencies at all.

Good for Coca Cola. It doesn't really help BTC or cryptocurrency but somehow it can add to the list of big companies starting to use blockchain. Its probably for the inventory of the bottles. If one day they allow us to buy coke with BTC, its gonna be great for adoption still and not like just using the blockchain like banks will. If they create their own coin, I think its also a better one than just adopting BTC.

the article mentioned about the business logistics part. blockchain technology would really be of use in this area
there are numerous projects that wanted to solve the long running problem in shipping and logistics but dont know where they are now.
so if a giant company sees the potential of blockchain tech to solve their own logistics problem, then if they are successful in the implementation part, their story would be a good example of blockchain tech resolving a long running prob. though they are not directly mentioning the BTC here, but it is a good move in crypto in general

Im not sure of that. Bitcoin is only true application of blockchain technology.
There are theories about voting system for countries, that can't be manipulated but its a far future.
Im afraid blockchain will be misused as buzzword like "cloud"

If we are talking about companies using and implementing blockchain technology in their company we are talking about their own versions of "blockchain technology" some of it are even patented so that others won't copy. So the growth you are expecting that the industry will have because they are exploiting blockchain technology in their company then think again. This will have no effect in the industry at all since it doesn't give any kind of benefit whatsoever on our side, it doesn't even promote the use of Bitcoin because of it. The technology of blockchain is really just a separate entity as well as Bitcoin. The crypto industry and their own blockchain is really alone without the government's support as well as companies directly taking advantage of it without them then mass adoption won't really happen.

Indeed, it has nothing to do with bitcoin development or adoption, blockchain adoption by a company isn't a piece of good news for bitcoin.
Even a country like China will implement bitcoin technology in various sector to boost economics, finance, education, employment, health care, infrastructure management, and public services, doesn't mean it's related to bitcoin and will make it prominent to the layman and brings more adopters to the community.

The article compared to the title is a bit weird. I wouldn't describe blockchain technology being bottled up, in the last weeks it's become pretty obvious a lot of companies and government appreciate the technology and do think it'll lead to something. It's more so bitcoin that's been bottled up (mostly due to the decentralized factors which has lead to lackluster adoption).

A lot of companies in 2020 are going to dip their toes in blockchain technology, I'm ready for a blockchain revolution!
"bottled" up is wordplay. The company behind this is used in the bottling process of Coca Cola.

I have always had this strong feeling that the global adoption of blockchain technology would take place soon whiles its twin partner cryptocurrencies would take quite a long time. It's a great feeling to hear such a big company like Coca Cola stepping up on the front to adopt the blockchain technology. This would serve as a good exposure about the technology to other equally famous industries across the globe.
the thing that's useful for developing positive influence is quality, and this will silence many seasonal investors to think about sustainable things in reverse.
outline focuses on the revolution of the logistics system and some things related to data, other companies also definitely want an alternative step using the same thing from the blockchain, I see here various altcoin data-based projects can be invited to work together to perfect the system, so they don't see from business calculations first.
