Id strongly discourage to double spend this transaction. There are more transaction that depend on this one getting confirmed. A double-spend would make them all invalid and might cause further issues for others.

I strongly ENCOURAGE to double spend this transaction if you are capable.  Doing so will teach others a very important lesson about spending bitcoins that haven't confirmed yet.

A double-spend would make them all invalid and might cause further issues for others. Correct me if Im wrong, but another reason for the delay might be the small output of only 6910 satoshi. With a large number of transactions in the mem pool its possible that nodes raise their individual dust limit. nMinRelayTxFee is raised when transactions hit the mempool limit of 300 mb.

what i mean he sent the funds via blockchain.info wallet

so how he can use Double spent Options so he can speed it up?
Export the private key, import it in another wallet, and send another transaction. I've only done it with Bitcoin Core. I'm not sure if you can do this with - say - Electrum, I don't know if Electrum would pick up on the existing transaction in mempool.
He can always try it. Needless to say: be careful with private keys!

Hello

i have a friend sent me bitcoin but its more than 12hrs and still unconfirmed transaction!

i received many transaction before usually takes maximum 1-2hrs, so why this one takes long ?

bitcoin network is currently spammed by a lot of transaction so its taking longer then usual, you have to wait to get it confirmed, nothing else you can do.

he using Blockchain, how he can use double spend method on blockchain?

16hrs already passed, but i want to ask not a guarantee means it can take days & weeks or wont arrive ?
The estimate went up to 21 hours. It will most likely get there. Or the sender can choose to do a double spend with a higher fee, which is a bit more work than just waiting.

You keep saying things about "blockchain fees" and he is using "blockchain". All bitcoin uses the blockchain, so that is not a meaningful statement. Likewise, the block chain doesn't recommend fees. Are you talking about bitcoin core' s recommended fees or blockchain.info or something else?

in my case its now about 14hrs and still pending, when do u expect in hrs to be done
https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ can give you an estimate. At 35 sat/byte the estimate is 20 to 960 minutes. That's up to 16 hours, but it's not a guarantee.

He used the Recommended Blockchain fees when he send

and yes i should get 1.2048 BTC

Which one is for you? 0.0000691 BTC or 1.2048 BTC? If it's the first one, it's less than the fee so you can't really use it for anything. If it's the other, I don't really get why the sender kept that small change. It could just as well be added to the fee.

In your case with 373 0.003 btc should be enough.
You missed a zero there: 0.0003 BTC should be enough for very fast confirmation.

he paid the fees not me,

so what is the good rate in satushi to get fast transaction ?

Yes, you're right, I didn't chose well some words there.

Take a look at that website. Right now, it claims that best rate NOW is 90 satoshi / byte. But that can change in better or worse in the next minutes or hours.

Keep the link I gave you. Next time you or your friend sends Bitcoin, check the recommended fees there and also the size of the mempool. Now the mempool is big, meaning that the network got a huge number of transactions lately (in the last 16h). There use to be better days too, when 35 satoshi is more than enough for the transaction to be confirmed within an hour or two.

It is suggested that you should send atleast 80 satoshi/byte as fee

Your transaction will soon be confirmed just wait longer.

From what I see, the transaction is 373 bytes and he paid about 35 satoshi / byte.
If you look here https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx you'll see you are not the only one waiting.

Basically the ones paying more satoshi/byte will get their transactions processed sooner.
If you were in a hurry, you should have paid some more.
