Hi Guys,

I know it has been dicussed, but I still have a problem getting infos via AJAX from blockchain.info

I´m calling 'https://blockchain.info/en/stats?format=json' via AJAX and I´m getting a response, unfortunatly the data is empty.

It works in Internet Explorer when I call the script from a local file. When I load it from the server http://localhost/script.html it does not work. Firefox does not give me data at all, except the response header.

I know there is are issues with the Origin header, but I cant´t figure out how to solve it.

If anybody can, please help me , it´s driving me mad...

Don't know if this has been discussed:

For quicker and easier recognition of bitcoin amounts could the numbers to the left of the decimal be in one color and the numbers to the right be in a different color?

Thanks.

Hi there.

Is it possible to identify p2pool mined blocks at blockchain.info?

Currently, they show up as individual IP addresses, or as Deepbit, so p2pool doesn't get credit when compared against the other pools.

As an example, Block 255951 and Block 255934 were mined by p2pool, but they are showing up as Deepbit and an IP address, respectively.

Josh

can p2pool mark their coinbase with a p2pool signature?

Looks like their coinbase does contain some weird stuff that blockchain.info could recognise anyway e.g. 916576c891b3f65c594841d786fee03b31075092caec61780015c41916f9c312 - ends with an OP_RETURN

Will

We're in luck.  There was talk on the p2pool thread about that, just recently.

The p2pool donation address appears as the second-to-last input in the coinbase transaction of every p2pool solved block.

1Kz5QaUPDtKrj5SqW5tFkn7WZh8LmQaQi4

This address always appears as the second-to-last entry in the coinbase transaction.

BTW, the very last entry, the "Unable to decode input address", contains a special hash which links up the p2pool sharechain with the Bitcoin blockchain.  It changes all the time, so it's probably not as useful as a signature, though.

It would be great if p2pool indicated its solved blocks in a more obvious way, but these are the cards we have been dealt.

I do like the ability to import a private key and have it sweep (spend) the funds, however the address it gets swept to is another existing address from my wallet.  This re-use of a previous address is not what I want, however I don't see any way I can force this sweep to create a new address for the sweep be spent to.

Is there some other way to import a private key and have it swept to a new address ... either via mobile , or Blockchain.info My Wallet (web)?

Anyone tried the OS X blockchain app from the app store?  Wondering which directory/files contain the keys to be backed up.

Can someone update blockchain.info/pools to reflect the hash rate from ghash.io? Supposedly, support tickets have not been answered.

Can we please have redesigned graphs? Here are examples of what could be improved, mostly related to readability:

Clearly it is per month. And the graphs aren't that bad for a quick look.
You have just demonstrated the problem. It is not per month, it turns out it is per day. And average person cannot see right away if we are talking millions or tens of millions or hundreds of thousands in this pile of digits: 37049113.99417443 - they need to stare it into pieces. Common sense, it doesn't take a PhD in graphic design.

Do you see the tick marks, it is clearly per month in a year

So the movement between the tick marks is what? Noise? LOL

It's CLEARLY plotting more frequently than monthly.

Is there a problem with My Wallet. Yesterday I was suddenly unable to log in with GA. After 3 failed attempts sent a request for GA reset (1 more login attempt was still left according to the message). Trying to open the login page with my identifyer says that my account is locked for 240 hours. Today it still says 240 hours and I got another locking notification email.

What is wrong? I can create a new account and import my wallets from paper backup, but I'd rather have my initial account back.

I'm unable to 'import directly' private keys to my wallet atm, I've tried with desktop Firefox & on Chrome, this used to work fine but now pressing the Import Directly button doesn't work at all, I haven't tried the sweep option as it's not what I need so don't know if that is broken also or not, any help appreciated.

The correct address shows up & it's balance in the warning window but clicking Import Directly does nothing, the address isn't already in my wallet btw, it's a newly generated vanity one.

Tried on a different computer & still not working, I hope this feature hasn't been disabled just because some ppl don't follow the warning & import insecure shared private keys - if so pse make the warning stronger & re-enable it as it is an extremely useful & necessary feature of the wallets, many thanks.

I'd hoped that the update would fix this but it's still not working, any news of when the wallet will be able to import private keys again?

Noticed the update to v1.98 but unfortunately the addon is still not working under linux firefox.
The icon is appearing now, but clicking on it does nothing.

I have the same problem on OSX 10.6.8 and Firefox.
