Based on my experienced even if your password is correct it will still be incorrect when you log in with your wallet ID.

I tried to access my old wallet(2016) with the correct wallet ID, I have notes where my password is saved and use it. After trying to login in blockchain they email me for authorization and I click it but still, the result shows an incorrect password after I authorize the login.
I just finished testing it with my old wallet from 2015 and I didn't face any problems... The only way for me to reproduce your issue is to type the wrong password.
- Perhaps you changed your password and forgot to update your notes or it's just a simple case of figuring out the uppercase letters [it's case-sensitive].

Have you tried checking the saved passwords in your browser [I do know it's a long shot, but still...]?

Based on my experienced even if your password is correct it will still be incorrect when you log in with your wallet ID.

I tried to access my old wallet(2016) with the correct wallet ID, I have notes where my password is saved and use it. After trying to login in blockchain they email me for authorization and I click it but still, the result shows an incorrect password after I authorize the login.

So I think he can only able to recover this wallet by contacting support or if he still has the wallet.aes.json file.

I've gone with Dave from wrs to attempt to recover the wallet

I hope they can help you recover your wallet and hope that you can update here if you successfully recover it because I also want to recover my old wallet from blockchain.

Anyone have a good resource on how I could go about brute forcing my way into my wallet on the website?
If you're fine with using paid services, you can contact Dave [aka "walletrecoveryservices.com"] via his email.
Note: Beware of phishing websites!

Did you not do any backups OP?

The backup options back then were local download (check your old drives), dropbox, google drive, email and paper wallet, any of those ring a bell?

and then click "forgot password"

Clicking forgot password is still the same, recovering using the 12 word phrase at which OP doesnt have. Higher chance that OP cannot recover this wallet/account anymore unless bruteforce works for the password recovery.

Unfortunately, we're unable to help you regain access to your wallet if you've lost or forgotten your password. This is because we don't have access to your wallet or your wallet password.

If you are getting the error message "Error decrypting wallet" when attempting to log in, then this means the password you're using is incorrect.

If you find yourself in this situation, we recommend trying two solutions:

Try to log in using every possible password combination you may have used.
Use your 12-word Secret Wallet Recovery Phrase (also known as a seed phrase).

https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/4555924189212-What-do-I-do-if-I-forgot-my-password-

That might not be possible without having your password.

But very possible brute forcing the password can help, like I have seen NotATether posted about this before.

Unfortunately we're unable to locate anything resembling a 12 word private recovery phrase

The password simply doesn't work...

I have wallet ID

I have access to email

My password doesn't work

How can I go about recovering?

Customer Service can't help

If you have the 12-24 words, this is the best way to recover your account. Just enter those words in another wallet (i recommend electrum.org wallet).

If you don't have the words, then just go to https://login.blockchain.com/#/login?product=wallet
Insert your wallet ID or e-mail

then, they will ask you to verify the device (they will send you an email  with a link).

After the device has been verified, click "I need help"

and then click "forgot password"

Did a search for mnemonic and aes.json in the mail yet no joy

Period was 2013

We have lots of GPU and was thinking to brute force it

What are our options? Yes the customer service is useless :-P

This is a terrible feeling as there was a bit in there

Their customer service is pretty much an useless waste of time. And now the website is blockchain.com
One starting point could be this topic, maybe some answers can be of help for you (although please double check) : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/old-blockchaininfo-wallet-from-2014-and-before-161719-words-precovery-phrase-5147174
(does your mail contains a mnemonic or an aes.json attachement?)

Best would be if you have a 12 or 24 words mnemonic, but I think that such words came later than your account.
