Someone sent me dust and fucked my account. I can't withdraw my BTC until all deposits are cleared and this bullshit tiny amount is holding 2+ BTC of mine hostage because I can't withdraw with unconfirmed deposits.

Is there anyway to get this stupid thing a confirmation?

IT HAS BEEN 2-3 DAYS NOW. THIS IS BULLSHIT, I DIDNT EVEN SEND THAT DEPOSIT.

LOL for a full member like you are, you are acting like a newbie. Smiley Settle this like a man, stop acting like a child.

What is he going to do go beat the them up and bang their wifes?!

You know you can pick and choose which address to send the coins from? And you can also choose the amount? So just send your coins from an address that doesn't have the unconfirmed Txn. If you must use the coins that has the dust spam, then don't use up the full amount, as that will include the unconfirmed dust amount. There are ways around it, you'll just have to be smarter on ways to send your coins.

who is confirming all the dust blocks
No one they tend to just go back after a while
Sit in unconfirmed until threshold is released that said if someone does process them devs get pissed Tongue
Would having a (optional) minimum btc deposit amount stop the spammers? If you had an option in the wallet to only accept payments over say 1000 satoshis, it might deter people from spamming dust. Just a random thought
Think that's what a faucet does problem is satoshi sends that one knows won't process to advertise

Ppl saying to not post your address will make you immune to that, not true! if you make any transfer to an address it then become permanently visible on the blockchain, so even your cold wallets can become a "target" of the spam, even if you do not post the public address anywhere.

thanks blockchain.info

they would just be scanning all the information straight of their node,

the point is to create the private key offline so that their is the most minimal possible

chance it could ever have been intercepted, yes your right all public keys essentially

become public only when you use them, and in a sense your private key also

becomes public when you use it even once,

This has happened to me before. Copy you're private key and put it in multi bit or vice versa. When updating it will all be fine!
+1 although it doesn't work every time unfortunately

I faced a similar type of situation a few months back. I used multi bit to get out of it. You should try that. See if it works?

Let's talk governance, lipstick, and pigs.
What is the point of the spammers sending the 1 satoshi to so many addresses? The ones I've seen at my addresses don't have any notes or anything...just the transaction. I don't understand how they benefit.

I think they are trying to break Bitcoin. It won't suceed, but it is doing damage as can be seen with OP's case.

they have been pounding me with these dust/spam transactions too ...

Just ignore them. Don't try to spend unconfirmed bitcoins. Don't give your money to online wallets because most of them are made by children. QED.

I have also received 1 transaction of 1 satoshi with a message containing a possible fishing site of lastpass.

Last I checked it was still not confirmed.

When I looked at wallet address there were a tons of outgoing transaction of 1 satoshi to different accounts. Is this a new way of hacking accounts or just plain spam?
