Yup, it is down again. Luckily i have drained that account there and funds will wait in my mobile phone xapo wallet till delivery of trezor which i bought recently get to my door.
oh my? why move all funds? is it blockchain is not safe wallet?
is it the recent ddos attack make it not worth to make it as safe wallet.
i might gonna remove my funds to desktop wallet maybe.. just curious

IDK if it is safe or not (there are some threads about blockchain.info is insecure and some members lost their funds there, but personally i never had such problem), but their down times are annoying as hell. Yesterday i needed to move something from them to other address but they were offline. Anyway, i bought trezor hardware wallet on Black Friday offer and will move most of my coins there when i got him.
I don't believe in the fact that people have "lost" funds on blockchain. Though I myself have experienced my coins getting lost there, but I was soon refunded by the blockchain people(and they gave some extra coins too).

Down for me too. Cloudflare shows that the server is down(HOST ERROR). I guess this is some kind of DDOS attack or something. They should be up soon.

I can confirm its down when I try to connect to it from canada.

Super weird. I hope people don't have funds trapped on it.

ALWAYS have backups of privkeys somewhere so you can still access your BTC even if the site is down.
Storing any sort of wealth only in a web wallet is going to lead to bad times. Always backup your privkeys!

It is up now, just checked. Hope they will finally improve their security or whatever it take to we avoid those down times. I use it only for small transactions, but anyway it is annoying and i will think about better solution.

Blockchain.info has been "bad" for a long time now. Its unstable, poor API, lots of problems with it. I'm not sure why its so popular considering there are more popular and stable services out there.

I think it was a DDOS attack but now it's working for me here
Hackers tried to attack the blockchain as they tried before with many banking services online

weird, I reset my router and it still doesn't work. Its not a browser issue either. Oh well, anybody have suggestions for a better wallet?

If you're looking offline : multibit will be nice
still looking for online : Xapo or coinbase.com

How about using VPN when accesing blockchain...

IDK but while using 4G the site is fine for me.

Nope, i can't acces blockchain.info even from my mobile. Says "Could not locate remote server". But when i check it on www.isitdownrightnow.com/blockchain.info.html it shows the site is up Shocked what the heck is going on? Huh

I had same problem 2 hours ago, but now everything is ok. I loged in and make few transfers and it work perfectly. Try again for some time, who know what it is. Maybe some little network problems, who knows...

I use blockchain wallet too but to be in the safe side I exported my private keys form the wallet so I can deal with them even when the site goes down , so I suggest you to do so when the site works with you again
