In fact, due to the bad government in Bangladesh, the situation in Bangladesh had reached an extreme level. This dictatorial government has run the country in such a way that people could not express their thoughts properly, people had difficulty in moving, everything had to be bought at a higher price. Students could not get jobs after studying, government party people got jobs. After completing their education, the talented students used to work as day laborers. Due to the way the country is going, at one time there was a call for anti-ageism student movement. On that call, all the students came down to the field and poured their fresh blood to overthrow this dictatorial government. Since the fall of the dictatorial government, the country is doing very well now, I hope peace will return to the country soon. Although much peace has returned, I think the peace a country needs will return very soon.

^^^ That's the advantage in the US and the UK... and Canada, and Australia, and India, and a few other places, the people can go to court in these countries, against ANYBODY in a man-to-man style. It doesn't matter what the politics, job position, or anything else might be.
If a government man/woman is taken to court in a claim for damages, man-to-man, the government man/woman has to answer as a man/woman. But if the people are ignorant of this, how can they use it or do it?

The courts are set up with a section for going man to man in court... no matter who the man is. The remedy is not just good laws but it's enforcement. In the US the court is separated from the executive arm of government. The judiciary is independent and cannot be fully influenced by any organ of government. But in most developing nations like Bangladesh, the Courts are highly controlled by the ruling class. Taking the government or its officials to court is a waste of time and resources because they can easily manipulate the judges and get favourable judgments. Sometimes, you will be intimidated or even harmed for suing the government.
We all saw what happened to protesters in Bangladesh; many of them were killed and others injured. There were also protests in the UK after four girls were stabbed and no protester died. Democracy might be spelt the same way globally, but its application varies.
It may not be easy, but as long as the courts of Bangladesh are set up like British courts, there is a section called "Queen's Bench." This is where a man can go man to man with any other man, even a government official. The thing that he deeds to do is realize that it is man to man, and not let the court push him into making it man to government official.

The British gave them a government based on the tenets of the Magna Carta, a document that took power away from the British king and nobles, and spread that power among the people.

However, in the US, the whole government was set up based on the tenets of the British Magna Carta. Yet Americans don't understand this except in a small way. But it's so strong that it has kept America reasonably free for over 200 years WITHOUT the people understanding it.

This August will be remembered as time of both freedom and disaster showing how strong and brave Bengali people are.
The people of Bangladesh have sacrificed for the good of the country. Many of them died, while others were injured. Properties worth millions of dollars were also destroyed. But the problem with such a revolution is that the ruling class will still hijack the government and things might become worse. Since the system is already corrupt, it will be difficult to have a government that will wholely seek the good of the people. But the students made the right choice by choosing Muhammad Yunus who is an economist, entrepreneur and civil society leader. With his experience I expect him to make policies that will help revamp the economy and create more jobs. As a politician, he should use his years of experience to unite the people and ensure that ethnicity and religion are not sacrificed on the altar of meritocracy.

It is very curious that you mention this and go about it ... You have been defending Trump's hate speech all over the place, justified him calling for violence in the Capitol causing deaths and yet here you are teaching lessons to others in other countries. Use of a governmental position to hurt others is exactly what you have been defending during years in this forum.
The even stranger thing is that you use freedom of speech to accuse Trump of hate speech in the USA. In the USA there is something called the First Amendment. This Amendment upholds anybody the right to the inherent freedom of speech that everybody has.
This freedom, while upheld differently than an Amendment to a Constitution in the UK, exists in the UK, too. So, you are welcome to call Trump's use of freedom of speech... to call it hate speech. I wouldn't deny you this right, because it really should be free for everybody to speak.
Trump didn't call for violence at the Capitol. But, you are free to say that he did, just as I am free to say that he didn't. It's freedom of speech. So, even if he did, it's his freedom of speech, same as yours is for you.

I wasn’t aware of this, it hasn’t been on the news here. It sounds terrible & I hope people are recovering from this disaster. For those who lost their lives, I pray for them & that their families can eventually find peace.

Few years ago when major parts of my country was flooded, this was the exact story that I heard. That the neighbouring country released water from their dam which affected my country. Why must it be so? Why will a country's dam evacuation affect another country. If it is so, there's supposed to be a document of understanding by the two countries, stating how such situations would be handled without affecting the other country.My condolences to the people of Bangladesh. Yes 2024 is a bloody year for the Bengali nation. Dictator Sheikh Hasina made the country into a state where people took away their rights from freedom. People could not speak or do anything as they wanted. However, student activists have once again freed this country from dictators by shedding their own fresh blood. Man's imagined flood was this flood planned from India. Maybe the Indian government drowned the people of Bangladesh with water to please Sheikh Hasina. How tyrannical the government can be happy to act as it is. However, even if it is a human-made flood, we will accept this flood as a blessing because it is said in the hadith that if the country is free from dictatorship, the country will be completely cleaned by the flood rains and the country will be re-created which will be much better than before.

The world is moving towards another World War and we are seeing increased tensions globally that will lead to this big crisis. These global conflicts among nations and within the nations are a serious concern for the World's peace. The reasons for all these conflicts are usually geopolitical disputes and economic rivalries. These small conflicts can result into major conflicts and the world super power should take these seriously before it becomes out of hand.
Most countries are ruled by corrupt leaders and only a few nations like Bangladesh are able to get rid of them by sacrificing their lives.
