PoW is over. Stake your coins!

More than 4.6 million coins are staking. That's a good amount. Smiley
+1 This is a strong coin. I have a hunch about this one. Hopefully it's going places.
what price mining cost for blus to reach ROI ??

I think most miner's ROI would be around the 100 satoshi range.

Nono, I made a copy of that wallet.dat. But I did it while the client was running and when you go through those threads dealing with the problem, you'll see what I am talking about. My wallet got out of synch so I made a copy of my wallet.dat while the client was running, closed it, deleted everything and it the wallet.dat turned into a .bak file. Then I tried my wallet.dat copy and the same happened. I am only left with .bak files as I put my wallet.dat copy into the Bluesteel folder without making a copy of it... But I don't think it would have mattered anyway because of this completely weird bug.

So if anyone knows how to get something out of a .bak file, let me know. I got two of them -.-

i think u can salvage as long as info is in 1 of the them bak or dat files. too many instances of are running at same time which gives confusion
stop wallet running process delete all the bak untill u are left with just Wallet.dat
make sure Wallet.dat got your info if it hasnt look at all the bak 1s find the right 1 with info delete rest and rename the bak to just Wallet.dat restart wallet then back him up asap
leave 1 Wallet.dat get rid of all them bak

Well, I am somehow left with all those wallet.dat files that turned into a ".bak" file. Reading through those threads dealing with that exact problem, the coins are very likely lost. Really an odd problem as it never happened to me before. Some people say that it happens when you create a copy of your wallet.dat while the client is running... I have no clue, I just know that my coins are gone >.<

So you did not copy your Wallet.dat to a backup location?  You should always store a copy of your Wallet.dat in a safe location (like a USB stick)

Ok so for the very time now I lost all coins due to some weird error: the wallet didn't synch anymore and I deleted everything except wallet.dat. I also made a copy of that wallet.dat file. When I launched the client again, it didn't start and it told me that the wallet.dat file is damaged and turned the file into a "number".bak file.
I tried to install everything again and put the wallet.dat into that folder. It is now a zero balance. Interesting... I did it several times now to check whether I am doing something wrong, but as I said, never ever had that problem before.

That is an odd problem.  The Wallet.dat if not corrupted should work fine with a reloaded wallet. You can try salvaging the wallet if that helps.

Ok I tried to google the problem. In some threads it says that your walt.dat gets corrupted when you make a copy of it while the client is running. It's actually the first time this error popped up on my screen and I definitely copied wallet.dat files from running clients before. The coins are lost. Enjoy that lower coin supply! Smiley
